With this one she takes us through sketches using only graphite pencils , showing us how to turn a sketch into a realistic almost photo like picture using shading as one of the methods.
She uses up to 6-8 illustrations each building on the previous one. Lots and lots of tips she shares. (The book is worth the price just for those tips.)
Good quality cover and pages are well laid out. Print is dark so you won’t have any problems reading the text.
Very good value

The pages of this book are a decent size, just shy of 8.5 x 11. The images are large enough to actually make out small details in the drawings, and the text is large enough to actually read.
Also, the author doesn't waste 20 pages telling you about materials, equipment, and the history of pencil lead, LoL! Their are 160 pages of useful information and step-by-step examples.
