Another Barrington Barber

If you want to learn to draw you could do well to work from the books of Barrington Barber, one of the clearest and most practical of writers on the subject. But all the books in the world won't teach you to draw if you just read them. Learning to draw is like learning a musical instrument. It takes a lot of practice. This book provides plenty to work on. I only gave it four stars for the kindle edition because of the limitations on the tiny illustrations. Don't let that put you off.

I made the mistake of getting the kindle version and the diagrams do not translate very clearly. Useful examples and clear instructions for the beginner. Gives you confidence to move on to more complicated projects.

What to draw
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 June 2016Verified Purchase
I draw every day I know there are drawings all around us, but sometimes I don't want the bother of looking, I know this is the wrong attitude.
This book gives me all I need to keep up my daily practice, instead of a can't be bothered attitude. Thank you I'm so pleased I purchased it.
