These are good bookends at this price. They are very basic yet purposeful. They look exactly like they look in the pictures. Nothing more, nothing less. I ordered them for my child's library, which mainly consists of hardbound boardbooks of various sizes. Hence it was a bigger challenge than to stack your regular paperbacks. Earlier I had considered many other options, which were much much expensive but finally took a chance with these as they were rather inexpensive. They did the job well.
They were packed well in a roomy amazon cardboard box cushioned with air bags. Both bookends were spanking new and wrapped in airtight cellophane.
