Ahad and Areesha detest each other. Almost most of their life they played pranks to get back at each other. But is dislike the emotion responsible for their actions or something else?
I loved Areesha and Ahad's story. Their repartees are quick and witty, keeping the reader in splits. Their chemistry, smouldering. The part where they discover and acknowledge their true feelings for one another was my favourite.
I raced through the book in a couple of hours. Once finished I had to wait, rather impatiently, for the next book.

Yet another brilliant romance by my favourite author from my favourite city! This is the beginning of a new series “Reluctant Romances” and is an enemies to lovers romance. Areesha and Ahad were childhood friends and neighbours who had been at odds with each since their their teenage days. But by a twist of fate or deliberate machinations, they ended up married to each other and learn to navigate their strong attraction and inherent disdain for each other while exploring the minefield that is marriage in India.
I loved how the author designed the main characters to be endearing yet flawed as humans and not some black and white paragons of virtue or vice. I also appreciate the effort taken to build the foundation for the secondary characters and their possibly upcoming stories!
It is always a joy to earn about the culture and rituals of different people in a country as vast as India, and this book did give me a sneak peak into the way weddings are experienced by some people.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited but I am going to purchase a copy for myself for sure.

Areesha is a bindaas babe yet sweet and the perfect wife and daughter in law..I love the way they clear their misunderstandings and go on to become passionate lovers from arch enemies

It is cheeky and fun but is also very real where the emotions are concerned. It was compelling enough to finish in one sitting and yet it was an effortless and beautiful read. Looking forward to the next one in this series!
