To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
My six year old and I were reading this together and he thought it was hilarious how the author was playing around with words that sound alike. I loved that he was learning and having so much fun at the same time.
Very good book for visually and orally explaining the difference between meaning of same-pronounced words. Illustrations are quite cluttered and I found it sometimes difficult to want to focus, but it is a very encouraging and non-threatening book for hesitant young readers.
Haggis and Tank are fun! Like other branches books, though, not much meat to the stories. Fun read aloud to my younger son, but my older one (age this book was written toward) didn't get into it too much.
