5.0 out of 5 stars As music was to iPod, so are books to Kindle
By Arindam Bhattacharjee on 4 November 2013
When ordering an e-book reader, you'll want to get a device that immerses you into the reading experience. This is what motivated me to get a Kindle. Without prior hands on with the device, I was worried of how the e-ink display would be, but it turned out perfect, with zero-glare, stunning contrast and paper-like viewing angles. The page-turning buttons work like a whisper; the bezel size is perfect, with a appropriate area at the bottom for gripping it with your thumb. The device is fairly lightweight, has a battery life that you can position between your smartphone and your wristwatch. With no distractions whatsoever, I've found finishing paperbacks (e.g. Steve Jobs by Isaacson) super-easy. Must buy for anyone remotely interested in paperback fiction and genre writing.
