I bought this product back in 30 April, 2017 for mirroring my laptop screen onto my tv mainly to watch anime and movies. Overall the HDMI cable is very sturdy and the output picture & sound quality is excellent. So far of usage I haven’t faced any issues personally, everything works smooth till now. If you are looking for a well built and durable HDMI cable that would last for a long duration of time along with providing top notch output.. then this is definitely the right choice to go with :)

I have used this product for long time. Product build looks like high quality but when I started using clarity was slightly lacking and now after usage for few months sometime picture have turbulence or sound stops or different error comes. Always check product when you receive, if you find any error return it immediately. I should have done that.

Fits perfectly. I have connected my laptop to the TV and keep switching as and when it is required or if I'm feeling too lazy to get up and work on my laptop kept on the table. There is no lag, neither is it slow. I would recommend anyone who wants to buy this product, worth the money spent.

I use this to cast my laptop screen on my Mi-smart TV.
Note:- I use it under HDMI(ARC) option. ARC simply means if you have external speakers and want to use them to play the sound, you can choose between your projector/TV sound and external speakers. In normal HDMI, you can only play sound from TV/projecting device. (Your TV also should support ARC.)

Pros:-
* Good quality - Both picture and Audio. (I have an old laptop but I can play 1080p and 4K videos by projecting it's screen to my smart TV screen.)
* Not expensive compared to other brands and value for money.
* Projection has no problem. - If you connect from laptop, make sure you hit the Fn+project screen key and choose the options like Screen extend/Second screen only.. etc. Sometimes, if you don't do it, you may just get a black screen but nothing to worry.
* Gold plated connectors. No worries of rust or corrosion.
* No lag or glitches whatsoever. Projection of Videos, PPT, Browser, Games etc are all working seamlessly.
* Adequate length and strong grip of connectors.

Cons:-
* Thought it is flexible, it is not flexible like a braided ones and twisting and twirling can't be done. However, it doesn't matter if your devices' are kept stationary.

PS:- If you are confused between so many brands and cables, then go with this one. It is best in market, worth the price and totally reliable from Amazonbasics.

This is a highly recommended high-quality HDMI to HDMI cable with Ethernet suitable for TV, set-top box, A/V receiver, computers and so on. It is shielded from electrical interference so you will face no interruptions in your TV viewing. Using this cable gave me enhanced audio and video quality on TV as well. It is backwards compatible with all HDMI standards.

Direction of cable fixing

This cable works for 4K-60hz signal - all users should note that ARC will work only if the cable is connected in the proper direction - there is no arrow mark on the cable indicating this - if ARC does not work for you, simply invert the cable and check. One workaround is to connect the cable with the printing reading from left to right - the left side should be connected to the source eg receiver and the right side to the TV

Amazon Basics High-Speed HDMI Cable(18Gbps), 6 Feet HDMI cable. This cable will support complete HDMI2.0 spectrum. HDMI 2.0b is the max you can squeeze out of HDMI as of May 2019 and this cable supports HDMI 2.0b. You need to look for another cable if and only if your device user manual have clearly specified a version of HDMI higher than 2.0b which I believe are none apart for some apple product. However you could get a slight, mostly negligible improvement in picture quality and future ready (HDMI 2.1) if you opt for the most costly offering in HDMI cables. This is the best value for money HDMI cable with complete HDMI 2.0 support as of now. 6 Feet is the optimal length unless you have specific requirements.

NOT WORKING & VERY VERY SLOW AND TEDIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE

The product worked ok for about 10 days. I purchased it with a Brand Conquer Type C to 4K 2K HDMI Adapter, USB 3.1 Type C to HDMI to be able to connect it to my MacBook Air. When it stopped working I thought it was the adaptor. However, the supplier of the adaptor sent me a replacement and I am unable to connect my laptop to the TV, which means the HDMI wire has an issue. It has a 10 day replacement and 1 year warranty. I especially chose an Amazon basics product which was more expensive than others to ensure that it would be of a better quality. I am unable to ask for a refund as 10 days refund policy is over, however I would like a replacement for it. Thanks.

THE FIRST THING I PLUGGED IT ON MY LAPTOP AND SAMSUNG SMART TV IT SHOWS ME IT IS NOT PLUGGED IN AND NEED TO CHECK MY CABLE. DO I NEED TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE?
