Superior Performance

The AmazonBasics Performance Alkaline batteries perform as good or better than the top branded batteries on the market.

The batteries are suited for both high and low drain devices.

10-Year Shelf Life

The batteries use a patented triple layer structure in the cathode cad by adding a layer between the nickel and iron inside the battery. The result is an increased shelf life due to low leakage.

Stays Connected

The batteries +ve and –ve terminals maintain a consistent contact with devices through a unique processing on the surface of the positive and negative terminals.

This aslo prevents terminal surface resistance, even after storage under high temperature up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit and high humidity of up to 90%.

Power When you Need it

The Anode material reactivity is enhanced by a new zinc composition.

The amount of additional elements for anti-corrosion was lowered by reducing impurities in the zinc leading to higher reactivity and more power.

Increased Safety

The addition of a Short Circuit Preventive Washer (SPW) prevents leakage and heat built up in case of misuse to make the batteries safer.

When you are buying batteries, you are thinking about:
1) Battery life
2) Quality of the product

Some of the reviews here scared me. After a few minutes of considering, I decided to order the batteries and try them myself.
I have always been using batteries from Duracell, Panasonic and etc..
and I honestly feel no difference in terms of the battery life.
The quality is as great as the ones from the major brands, so I decided to stick with AmazonBasics for batteries.

I really hope my review helps some of you.

One pair of this battery didn't last even a fortnight in an AMAZON FIRE STICK . Just replaced it with the second pair. it lasted only for seven days. very disappointing for such a high quality brand.

Didn’t Last Long. Using in Wall Clock, 1st one lasted 40 days & 2nd one lasted 47 days only. A normal Zinc Carbon (Dry Cell) lasts 6-8 months and are much much cheaper.

These are not Alkalines I guess... not even Zinc Carbon (Dry Cell).

Very much dissatisfied as I Bought them over Duracell because of the pricing and “amazon basics” assurance. SHAME AMAZON

I needed these batteries specifically for my fire TV stick remotes which I hardly use for half an hour or so everyday. I ignored the other reviews, which said that these were poor batteries and still bought these. These had import date of 9/2018.

Put a couple in fire TV stick remote and within 3-4 days batteries were completely dead. Even batteries costing Rs 10 each last around 10-15 days in fire TV stick remote. I was thinking that these will be comparable to Duracell but these are worse than Rs 10 batteries at more than 3 times the price. I wanted refund but I see only replacement option. But what will I do with replacement of such a poor product?

This is absolutely awful product. Seems value for money in the beginning but is pretty much dead on arrival. I went through entire pack within a week. I am assuming ,this is a dead stock kept with Amazon for long. Don't buy.

Just like Snap, I Got The Power! They last as long as any other brand, and when you are constantly changing small children's toys this counts. As good, if not better than rivals, don't be fooled by brand leaders claims, these are as good, if not better!

I have always bought brand name batteries after having a bad experience with own brand ones not lasting long several years ago but saw these on offer on prime day for a fraction of the price of Energizer and Duracell so thought I'd give them a try. I paid just under £20 for 100 batteries. I have 2 small children and go through batteries relatively quickly, I've bought rechargeable ones in the past but am always forgetting to charge them so never have any ready when I need them!

I have been using them for a few weeks in a range of devices, remote controls, white noise machine, annoying kids toys etc and on all occasions they have performed perfectly. One of my daughters toys eats batteries and these have last as long as if not slightly longer on a set of batteries than it was on brand name ones so very happy!
