Excellent quality lens without chromatic aberration

Recieved the lens and the eyepiece in perfect condition, the seller is very helpful and assisted me with building the diy telescope using materials from the hardware store. It is free from chromatic aberration and a perfect lens for a beginner. I am clearly able to see moons craters , Saturn's rings and Jupiter with its moons.
A high magnification eyepiece such as 4mm or 8 mm will be needed to view Jupiter and Saturn clearly.

It could have been even a better experience if the manufacturer would have provided with choices of eyepiece as well (ofcourse with additional cost).

This two lense is great...😍 I never used telescope before, I made one with pvc pipe and this two lense... The image quality is fantastic, I really love the product, far more better than expensive one. Wish the 8 mm eyepice will get soon. Really recommend. I can see the little Saturn ring, Jupiter and the big Moon with clear sharp image. Thank You😇

Really good lenses for the given price. A few things you should know before you buy:
1) This is meant for refractor astronomy telescope, so image will be upside down, which does not matter in astronomy. But if you are trying to use it for land view then you will need additional corrective lens.
2) The primary lens is doublet lens even if it looks like plain lens, the convex surface should be facing towards sky and plain towards you.
3) With this kit you will love moon gazing but you can't see farther objects better without upgrading your eyepiece.
4) focal length is 700 mm but better measure it before mounting the lenses.
5)If you want to see nebulas and deeper structures then invest more and buy reflective telescope.

Having said that, I am totally satisfied with the lens set. I built my scope with pvc pipes and reducers and spray painted them. Then designed and 3d printed mount that fits my DSLR tripod and astronomy laser that I bought from nearby stationary shop.

Lens are good for making telescope. I made the telescope from it and it is able to shows moon's crater very clearly. Jupiter and it's moon ( moons are like small prominent points), Saturn and it's ring are visible.

At this price range,this telescope just steals the show,this should be called the "moon scope" but this is a beast.I'll drop by Anand traders next time I go to Delhi.Please make more high aperture lenses and low focal length eyepieces available on Amazon.Attached Blue moon of 31st October 2020,Jupiter with its moons(dots) and a really failed Saturn.I tried a 2 exposure shot but failed horribly(of course) but I was not promised Saturn rings so I did not care but there it was!It was amazingly tiny but discernible to a millimetre's extent.Looked like a line at first but then i saw a separate picture.All photos taken through these lenses themselves and for tripod i used a gorilla tripod,attached 2 of its legs on a sturdy chair and fixed the telescope on the other leg and head.It was a little frustrating(with all those mosquito bites and the lousy tripod),but hey look at the price again!
