A must read to understand the big game and how not be the pawns in this game!
It is a book all of us should read.
That question has always troubled me. And still lot of questions remain unanswered.
Easy to read and quite informative to anyone living outside of the same societal conditions to provide a small yet detailed glimpse into what is everyday reality for so many people.

It is interesting to consider the psycho-cultural-economic drivers as well as observe the redemption, if one might call it that, of at least two of the subjects under the lens. The faultlines of society are expressed through individual actions, and all politics, is in the end, local.
This is a very compelling and powerful indictment of individuals, leaders and society.
