About Anna Coulling
Hi - my journey into the financial markets was prompted by a desire to make sense of the jargon filled replies I usually received when asking any financial adviser, the simplest of questions. Clearly they believed as a mere woman, I was incapable of understanding the complexities of the markets. This prompted my desire to learn, and since then I have been involved in every aspect of trading and investing for over seventeen years. Now at last, I have the luxury of time, to devote the next phase of my life to writing a series of books with one aim. To explain complex subjects and concepts surrounding the financial markets, in a clear and simple way. I actually began my professional life, as an English teacher. However, English was not my first language, having arrived in the UK from Italy at the tender age of three. At that time I spoke no English whatsoever, and my first memories are of my little village school in Scotland where I grew up, and where I learnt to read and write, chalk in hand! Very old fashioned, but what a wonderful way to learn. Since then, I have never stopped talking! - well I am Italian and as I'm sure you know, Italians ALWAYS have an opinion on EVERYTHING!! Languages must be in my blood, as I also studied French and Spanish. I've now transferred the 'teaching gene' into written form through the power of Amazon. I hope, that whether you are a trader, investor or a speculator, you will find one, or perhaps more, of my books useful in your own approach to the markets. Kind regards Anna

What do Charles Dow, Jesse Livermore, and Richard Ney have in common? They used volume and price to anticipate where the market was heading next, and so built their vast fortunes. For them, it was the ticker tape, for us it is the trading screen. The results are the same and can be for you too.
You can be lucky too
I make no bones about the fact I believe I was lucky in starting my own trading journey using volume. To me it just made sense. The logic was inescapable. And for me, the most powerful reason is very simple. Volume is a rare commodity in trading - a leading indicator. The second and only other leading indicator is price. Everything else is lagged.
It's a simple problem
As traders, investors or speculators, all we are trying to do is to forecast where the market is heading next. Is there any better way than to use the only two leading indicators we have at our disposal, namely volume and price?
And such a powerful solution
In isolation, each tells us very little. After all, volume is just that, no more no less. A price is a price. However, combine these two forces together, and the result is a powerful analytical approach to forecasting market direction with confidence.
What you will discover
This book will teach you all you need to know from first principles. So whether you're a day trader or longer-term investor in any market, instrument or timeframe, this book is the perfect platform to set you on the road to success and join those iconic traders of the past. All you need to succeed is a chart with volume and price...simple.
Is this book for me?
If you aspire to become a full-time forex trader, then this is the book for you. Even if your dream is perhaps more modest, and you simply want to have a second income trading the forex markets, then again, this book is for you.
What will I learn?
It has been written with one clear objective. To explain how and why the currency markets move in the way they do - the forces, the factors, and the manipulators. Many aspiring traders, simply do not realize that the forex market sits at the heart of the financial world, which when you think about it logically, is really common sense. After all, this is the biggest money market in the world, and if the financial markets are about one thing, they are about money. Making it, protecting it, or increasing the return. It’s no surprise, therefore, the forex market connects all the others. Put simply, the forex market is the ultimate barometer of risk.
How will it help me?
So how will this book help me to become a better forex trader? First, you will discover how changes in market sentiment in the primary markets of commodities, stocks, bonds, and equities, are then reflected in the currency markets. This is something which often surprises novice traders. After all, why look at a stock index, or the price of gold, or a bond market? The answer is very simple. It is in these markets that you will find all the clues and signals, which then reveal money flow. After all, the financial markets are all about risk. In other words, higher returns for higher risk, or lower returns for lower risk. It really is that simple. And yet, how many forex traders ever consider associated markets? The answer is very few. After reading the book, you will be one of those enlightened traders who truly understand money flow and risk, and your confidence as a trader will grow exponentially as a result. The next thing you will learn is that trading in one dimension or using one trading technique, is rather limiting. You have probably met people who trade, who then make a bold statement such as: ‘I only trade using the fundamentals’ or perhaps that ‘technical analysis is a self-fulfilling prophecy’.
Please do NOT buy this book if..
This is NOT another book explaining forex trading strategies. In fact, there are none at all, surprising given the book's length. If this is what you are looking for, please DO NOT buy this book.
But do if this is you.......
It has been written for two specific audiences. The first is the novice forex trader, for whom this is a new market. The second is the forex trader who has attempted to trade in foreign exchange, but struggled and has been left confused by the apparently random and chaotic behavior of this volatile market.
Whilst the forex market is a complex mix, it is not complicated, once you understand the people, their motives and the currencies themselves. Even those markets such as bonds, which few traders ever understand, are explained very simply. Equally important is the concept of change. Indeed you may have other books, written many years ago and explaining how the forex market works. As you will discover, the rulebook has been torn up. No longer is this a simple market of trending currency pairs. This all changed in 2007/2008, and with it, the forex world changed too.
And here are some more reasons....
Long gone are the days when currency pairs meandered their way higher and lower in long-term trends, driven by interest rate differentials. To take advantage, you need to understand the forces which now drive the markets.

Forex For Beginners
Forex For Beginners is the prequel to my first two books, A Three Dimensional Approach to Forex Trading, and A Complete Guide to Volume Price Analysis. It is your primer to the world of forex. It has been written to lay the foundations and provide the framework for getting started in the world of forex, in what I believe is the correct way. My other books then build on what you will learn here, to further develop your trading skills and knowledge.
Applying what you learn
What I try to do in all my books, is to show you how to apply that knowledge to help you become a more confident trader. After all, learning is all well and good, but if we are not taught how to apply that knowledge in a practical way, then it is of little use. It is the application of knowledge that empowers, and this is what I have tried to do here, and in my online training rooms, and all my books.
It's all about risk
There are of course many books about forex trading. What is different about this book, is the focus on those aspects of trading which I believe are fundamental. After all, there are only two questions we need to answer when considering a position in the market:-
- What is the risk on this trade - high, medium or low?
- What is the financial risk on this trade?
This book is for you
The book explains everything, from the pure mechanics to the trading methodology that I advocate, and which I have used in all my own trading and investing for over 17 years. Forex For Beginners is also dedicated to all those traders who have asked me to write such an introduction, based on my knowledge and my methodology. This book is for you.
The ultimate 5 star forex trading library
With over 400 five star reviews, this box set is the ultimate foundation library to set you on the right road trading forex with four classic forex trading books.
A Complete Guide To Volume Price Analysis

The book explains all you need to know from first principles, and how to apply this powerful methodology to the spot forex market in all timeframes. As forex traders, all we are trying to do is to forecast where the market is heading next. Is there any better way than to use the only two leading indicators we have at our disposal, namely volume and price?>
Forex Trading Using Volume Price Analysis
The second book in the collection takes these principles and using over 100 worked examples, walks you through, step by step with clear annotated charts and supported with a full explanation of the price action and associated volume. Here you will see accumulation, distribution, selling climaxes, buying climaxes, stopping volume, topping volume and tests all at work.
Forex For Beginners
The third book brings introduces all the mechanics of trading and delivers what you need to know to get started. It's all here including risk and money management, how the markets work, timezones for trading, brokers and how they work, and choosing your currency pairs.
A Three Dimensional Approach To Forex Trading
The final book in the library will take your trading knowledge and expertise to a new and much deeper level of understanding, as the three strands of relational, fundamental and technical analysis are explored in detail. The information in this book will set you apart from every other forex trader and complete your forex trading education.
Never considered volume for trading forex?
For many traders, price and the price chart itself are the beginning and the end of technical analysis. All they consider is the price and nothing else. However, for myself, and many others, this approach completely ignores the extension of price to its logical association with volume, which together reveals the market’s true intent, and whether a move is genuine or fake.
It was good enough for them
This approach was first developed by the founding father of technical analysis, Charles Dow, more than a century ago, and then further developed and codified by Richard Wyckoff into his three laws, and what I now call Volume Price Analysis. It was an approach used by many of the iconic traders, and on which they built their vast wealth. To them, it just made sense and revealed the truth behind the price action, and will do the same for you in the world of forex.
What you will discover
In this book, you will discover how to apply volume price analysis to your own forex trading, regardless of whether you are a scalper or longer-term swing or trend trader. Through over 100 worked chart examples, with annotations, you will learn how to read the market for yourself and anticipate where the market is going next. No longer will you be caught off guard, or trapped into weak positions.
Blend it to your existing approach
And in addition, you can apply this powerful methodology directly to your trading, or it can be integrated and blended into existing trading tactics and strategies. All that is required is a chart with volume and price.
A powerful solution to a simple question
Volume price analysis answers the one question all traders want an answer to. Where is the market heading next?
What are binary options?
Binary options - is it betting or trading? A debate that has been raging ever since binary options exploded onto the market, sweeping away convention, tearing up the rulebook, and dividing opinion. Mention the word binary and instantly a heated debate will ensue. But love them or loathe them, binary options are here to stay, and Binary Options Unmasked has been written to provide traders with a balanced and considered view of these deceptively simple yet powerful instruments. There are many traps for the unwary, but there are also some solid gold nuggets if you know where to look.
Are Binary Options For Me?
This is the question I hope will be answered for you in this book. In writing it, I have tried to provide a complete introduction to the subject, with practical examples of how to approach these innovative instruments. Every aspect of this market is explained - both the good and the bad. Nothing is left unsaid. Binary options have much to offer, and used with common sense and thought, are perfectly valid trading instruments.
Applied unthinkingly, they become like any other instrument - a quick way to lose money fast. Binary Options Unmasked reveals the true characteristics of this market. It covers the current market participants, along with their product offering. Moreover, not only are binary options explained in detail, but their application as a trading instrument is also illustrated. Trading strategies and approaches too are explored, along with an innovative and practical approach to interpreting volatility, a key component of any options trading.I hope this book, will give you the confidence at least to consider these instruments in more detail for yourself, with an open mind and your eyes wide open.
If you're serious about trading cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrencies are the new kid on the block, and for the unwary can mean only one thing - loss. And losing is made even more painful by the volatility and speed with which prices for all cryptocurrencies move. Knowing where and when to buy and when to sell, can be a lottery. So what's the answer? The iconic traders of the past new a thing or two - not about these new currencies perhaps, but simply how to see 'inside the market' and the associated buying and selling. Which is where volume and price step in and put you firmly on the right side of the market.
It was good enough for them
So, what do Charles Dow, Jesse Livermore, and Richard Ney have in common? They used volume and price to anticipate where the market was heading next, and so built their vast fortunes. For them, it was the ticker tape, for us it is the trading screen. The results are the same and can be for you too, even in this new market
What you'll discover
The book takes the volume price analysis principles, and using over 100 worked examples for all the major cryptocurrencies, walks you through, step by step with clear annotated charts and supported with a full explanation of the price action and associated volume. Here you will see accumulation, distribution, selling climaxes, buying climaxes, stopping volume, topping volume and tests all at work. So if you're trading Bitcoin, or perhaps looking for an Ethereum price prediction, this will answer these questions for you and many more, giving you the confidence to trade and invest in these new and exciting markets
