About the RGB, well its not actual RGB because all rows have individual colored leds, but they don't false advertise it as rgb keyboard so that's good. It does have like 10 or so lighting effects which are dope.
I have been extensively using this keyboard since I got it but I haven't yet found a con for it yet. I will update later if I can find any.
People who are skeptical about buying this keyboard from ant esports, just go for it. You will love it.
Good build quality. Clicks are good and satisfying.
The cons are not really that much for the 2k I spent, but there are some good contenders which are cheaper : cosmic byte etc.
- The keycaps feel cheap, the font is not very clear
- It is a pure plastic keyboard
- limited themes for backlight
- each row has a fixed color, not RGB
I know i am nitpicking for a 2k mechanical keyboard, but its to give complete information.
All in all a solid buy.
Firstly, I know this is a cheap mechanical keyboard. Probably one of the cheapest and everything I type below will be after considering the price point. Ive used a mechanical keyboard from CosmicByte before, and also RedRagon Kumara.
It's definitely better than CosmicByte but nowhere near to being as good as Redragon Kumara.
Pros: It's cheap. You get a 1000rs coupon for World of Warships inside. That's about it.
Keycaps are by far one of the worst quality ones I've used. They're wobbly, the sound is inconsistent. Some keys sound subtle, some are louder and some don't make any sounds whatsoever. They're unfinished with rough edges everywhere.
I know this is a keyboard and you probably won't require a manual to use it. But the included manual is a joke. Other than a list of what keys are available, there's nothing inside.
The palm rest serves no purpose at all as it's very, VERY small. Your hands land straight on the table instead and don't even touch the "Palm rest" I don't know why did they bother including a palm rest they should've saved some money here.
The warranty seal was broken out of the box, which clearly indicates that there's no quality control and no checks before sending the keyboard out to customers.
There's no refund policy on this one. Only replacement so I'm stuck with it until I save up enough to buy a better keyboard.
Finally one of the worst things about this keyboard is the default animation. It comes back to the annoying animation after being rebooted. Which is totally fair, I'm not asking for on-board memory at this price point but the default light mode should be static. Which isn't the case and it's very annoying to change the light mode to static every time I turn on my PC.
Recommendations: Go for Redragon Kumara. It's 700rs more and only has single colour LEDs but the switches and keys are of far better quality than this one. And you'll have an overall better typing experience compared to this one. (mk3400W)
