I just couldn't get invested in Aphrodite the same way I did with Persephone. I loved the reimagined Pantheon and was excited to glimpse inside Aphrodite's head but she didnt have a clear voice. The plot of the trilogy was slow for me and there were so many unnecessary details it became hard to follow along with what was happening. **SPOILER** Hades death isnt justifiable, its just random. We go the whole time without hearing from him and there is no satisfying conclusion to the barely there romance between him and Persephone. I think it would've been better for the author to explore their journey or just invest more into Aphrodite herself.
