The only drawback to these books is once you have used all the stickers and read the story the book is kind of redundant and at £2.50 a pop, it can work out expensive. Also, my son at 5 years old is a bit too old for this book, he could read the whole book, not just the blue words ( although we did have fun) so I think level 3 or 4 would be more suitable for a 5 year old. This book would be more suited to a child in pre reception or reception class.
The story was good fun too, I love Arthur the Aardvaark, I used to read his books when I was a kid!
My favourite aspect is the books are polite and harmless. I would happily allow my 7 year old to read / watch Arthur and not worry that it contains anything scary, rude or otherwise inappropriate.
