“If the deaf are to hear, then sound has to be very loud”
He has popularised the slogan “Inquilab Zindabad” after bombing Central Legislative Assembly Chambers in 1929. Founded the Naujawan Bharat Sabha, a nationalist youth organisation, in 1926. 1907-1931, Such a short life but so contented.
First chapter of the book is dedicated to atheism & justification by Bhagat Singh of being an atheist. Rest of the book gives glimpses of his journey being freedom fighter and eventual letters to his family, comrades & Government.
Bhagat singh went on hunger strike for 116 days in Lahore jail protesting the mistreatment to Indian political prisoners. Even jail could not fade his sparkle. He has written many letters to Government protesting injustice.
He continued his battle even after being arrested. In jail, pen and paper were his only tool. Till last moment he keept sharing motivational and inspirational messages to young Political workers. The only personal demand was of books, he believed in gaining and spreading knowledge. He described real means of Revolution and guided them with a plan to achieve the same. He has even said he never want to defend himself for his acts, that is so decisive at very young age.
His never felt helpless or lost his motivation.
“I am such a lunatic that I am free even in Jail.”
I recommend everyone to read this book who wants to understand history or feels demotivating during course of life.
Overall a best piece. Thanks Amazon for quick delivery
This book gives an idea of his thinking written in the form of letters to his colleague.
Go for it. Can be read by students interested in Bhagat Singh and wants to know something extra about him which we didn't found in other books.
