I read this after Avengers Infinity War movie and am surprised that the motive of Thanos for genocide if different here. To me, the movie Thanos had a better purpose and underlying reason for his actions. Over here, he is just a pure egomaniacal evil.
The cosmic cube with its power of 'do what you can think' seems a bit unoriginal. I think there was laxity in its protection but that may be because of my ignorance to the back story of how it came to reside where it did. The six stones in the later half are not aptly described as to their powers except the soul stone of Adam Warlock. And that begs the question, of which stone is on Vision's head if it's not part of the six.
It was fun to read but I believe the movie version is a lot more refined with better character development of Thanos.
I didn't quite understand the last comic, if it was set in the future or in the past :/
It's really hard to read in kindle edition because of font and how dark inking of dialogues and art are.
The story is great but couldn't give it five stars because of the reasons listed in the first paragraph.
New marvel comics are good and not cringy for teens.
teens wouldn't like this book because of corny dialogues.
Here are some good comics
marvel comics that were made after 2007
Present DC comics

jIm Starlin as dynamic eye for composing a scene and a softer, more organic approach to figures, with realistic faces whitin psycadelic space backgrounds.
this is a great collection of the early appearances of Thanos and his first confrontations with Captain Marvel, Adam Warlock
and the Avengers. An epic story with great complexity, and great art to follow. Unmissible.
This (to my mind ) was Marvel's most creative period, and some of the stories, concepts, Art was
brilliant !! Much better then most of the far currently being served up.
This is Jim Stalin (finding his feet ) in writing grand sweeping cosmic
osyssey's, some of it is dated and later stories have more polish & style, this is still a great ride !!
Can reccomend to anyone who wants to get a head start on Avengers 2, where it seems THANOS is set to take
