I bought this book to use with my pre-k speech and language impaired students while working on color identification and labeling. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the rhyming text is so engaging as it always is in these Bear books. The rhyming and repetitive lines make it easy for kids to participate in the telling of the story, even if they are delayed in their communication skills. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, Highly recommend adding this to your library!
Although we are alrrady fans of Karma Wilson's stories and the beautifully illustrated Bear books this one takes the cake in overall beauty! Top notch book for your toddler's collection especially for exploration of color. (Right up there with Drew Daywalts Crayon books)
Adorable rhyming story about colors found throughout their travels. Wish they would have included less common colors like gray, pink, purple, black and white as well, especially since they included brown.
Used this book for my pre school classroom read aloud. Enough words and pictures/visuals to keep 3-5 year olds engaged but not long enough to lose them. Wasn’t aware it was/is a small board book. It works though.
Very cute books of Karma Wilson's series! It also helps to teach kids with simple counting, colors and alphabet, because it has a certain rhythm to it. And it was delivered very well boxed and nice, on time. Natalia.
