After reading "The Boy Who Loved" I was eagerly waiting for" The Boy With A Broken Heart" .
To be frank I didn't expect the story to begin with totally different plot n characters it was hard to believe that it is the sequel of the boy who loved however then Raghu the main character eventually comes in there. I felt like finishing the book ASAP as it seemed interesting then only and in the last few paragraphs the previous book n this one is connected narrating what happened with Raghu n Raghu's family after Bramhi jumps off .... The Story is Excellent. I Must say "EXTRAORDINARY WRITING by EXTRAORDINARY WRITER".
Oh my my.... Durjoy never fails to surprise you now does he? It's been quite some days since I finished the book and I still can't get it off my mind... The boy with a broken heart keeps you at the edge of your seat... It satisfies your craving to read different genres from romance to social evils to mystery and thriller in just 327 pages! I was thinking it to be just another love story where the girl dies in the first book and the guy falls in love with another girl and they live happily ever after in the next... But as I said... Durjoy never fails to surprise you... And it's the unpredictable twists and turns that keep you wanting for more.
Coming to the book with the broken heart.. advaita and raghu have become the two words that defines friendship.... The book is definitely notputdownable. You have beautifully described about the pure love , friendship ,care and the most important topic how the people still discriminate between hindu and Muslims . I really don't have much words to describe about this book but when I started reading this book I had feel that pain and love somewhere in my heart for raghu and many more that I can't describe . And the best part was the twist at the end .
It must be that There will be Coming another Sequel ... Cause Bramhi Seems to be Alive n we will see probably a love triangle Between Raghu , Advita n Brahmi ... We will have to wait to see whom Raghu Choose n what happens at last. The last line made me even more curious to know how things are going to take place further.
