Since I am a touch typist, I did not need very clicky keyboards, hence i went for the switch which had a low enough actuation force. Cherry MX Red it was then.
The keyboard is very sturdy, and on the heavier side, which means that it sits snugly on the table and does not move around on it's own even when you type very fast ( gaming or when your code isn't working ).
The keypress is the typical Cherry MX Red feel, and it is something that cannot be described in words. One has to simply feel this. I can only say that for touch typists, it is a gift, and your fingers won't get tired even after typing on this keyboard for hours.
The keyboard is lit with Red lighting, with 3 varying levels of brightness. I did not need any fancy lighting hence I do not like / dislike this feature, but it is always good to have.
The only small gripe I have about this keyboard is that the Windows ( or Command key if you're using a Mac ) key is very small when compared to ALT and CTRL keys between which it sits. Sometimes, it gets missed especially if you're on a mac and the Command key is necessary for everything. They certainly do have the space to put in a bigger key for it.
Go for this keyboard. You'll not get a better variant at this price.
I'm not an avid gamer, but I type (code) a lot. I fell in love with this on the first touch. The key didn't have to travel to the end for registering it. The lights (which can be modified using the iCUE software) are bright and can be dimmed down according to the user using the provided button or iCUE. I'm not an RGB fanatic and I wanted to match certain elements (red mousepad, red mouse) so went for this. The only drawback would be the wrist rest, which is not that comfortable... but it's not a major issue at this price. Also, an aluminium finish could've been provided.
Buy it at 6-7k during deals.
The Cherry MX Red switches are fantastic. It takes a few days or weeks to get used to these keys and avoiding typos, but the gaming experience is significantly better when compared to standard membrane keyboards. Anti-ghosting works great and the 2mm actuation point gives you an edge. Typing all day on the K68 never gets boring.
This is also dust and spill resistant, which is always a useful feature to have for clumsy folks like myself! There's even a video of this keyboard being pressure-washed, on YouTube (it survived and continued working perfectly!)
The silicone layer for water resistance also helps reduce the noise produced by the keys, but it's still noticeable. Personally, it feels like a typewriter and I like it (although, I find cherry mx blues obnoxious).
The iCue software still lacks many things and can get pretty annoying--but it's just software; Corsair can always refine it for a better experience in the future. A big bonus here is that there's a whole community of custom RGB lighting profile creators, so you have a lot to play around with.
All in all, good value for money.
Pros: Sturdy, reliable, excellent value for money. Great quality plastics. Superb performance.
Cons: No onboard storage, so you need to run that lousy iCUE software to load profiles at boot time.
Inspite of this I give this 5 stars.

The Cherry MX Red keys are not as clicking when compared to other keys, but they are fine keys nonetheless; this factor is just a personal one.
The keyboard seems very easy to clean and vacuum under the keys.
The lighting and customization with the software that you can download is very sleek and satisfying.
The volume keys work fine, but the media keys needs 3rd party tinkering before you can get them to work with the apps you want.
Very satisfied with my new keyboard from Corsair!
For my taste i don't like how the keys are so tall, and noisy click, I like my Chicklet keys more Logitech K800, well Iam stuck with it, until i sell it.
Link Profile to Program:
Select your Profile and under Edit Profile CLICK on the Three (3)Dots and select your Program.
ProgramFiles (x86) = 64bit programs and ProgramFiles folder = 32bit programs
Select from a 32 or 64 bit program
Must be a .exe extension
C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\SketchUp.exe
When you Launch that Program or open an existing Project not only will your Lighting Profiles Activate but also any Macro keys as well, and can even assign Audio to your Macro keys.
And if you click any other program it will go to Defult or any other Profile that you have set for other programs.
YES you can have a Program or even the File will Automatically Activate that Profile. Awsome
Keyboard has a very solid built quality. It does not feel like that cheap plastic that Razer uses and charge a premium price for their products. The only thing that I wish it had was macro keys.
the wrist support seems to be the one area showing a lot of wear. The rubber gripping is already getting grubby and worn from contact with my wrists constantly.
