USA Today bestselling author Caroline Lee has been reading romance for so long that her fourth-grade teacher used to make her cover her books with paper jackets, but it wasn't until she (mostly) grew up that she realized she could WRITE it too. So she did.
Caroline is living her own little Happily Ever After in NC with her husband, sons, and daughter Princess Wiggles. She liked to brag that she made it all the way through grad school (her second history degree) without knowing how to touch-type; she taught herself to type only a few years ago and APPARENTLY lesrned imcorrectly--learned incorrectly, a fact which she’s only now realizing, as other authors point and laugh. Caroline adores rodents, goes through laptops like Pez, and never met a whisk(e)y she didn't like. She’s also pretty funny in person. Promise.

Five years ago, six exceptional ladies graduated from Twittingham Academy and successfully nabbed themselves the most sought-after matrimonial prizes in London. Actually, they didn’t. Not one of them. But the Countess of Fangfoss, formerly known as Miss Julia Twittingham, has a plan to see each of her past charges happily wed after all. Welcome to Second Chance Manor.
Olive L'arbre has a brilliant mind but poor vision, mostly of herself. While at Fangfoss Manor with her dearest friends, and a batch of eligible (if not entirely desirable) gentlemen, Olive believes none of them could ever be as interested in her, or her recent paper on Roman architecture, as she is in the latest edition of Journal of the Society of Archaeology. Certainly, none of them could possibly hold her attention better than the daring exploits of her favorite (and likely fictitious) explorer.
But then she meets a man who seems much too interesting--and even more interested in her--to be true. Is it possible he's the real-world equivalent of her long-time obsession?
Phineas Prince is an adventurer with a fascination for exploring history in far-flung locales. When his sister insists he accompany her to Fangfoss Manor for the summer, his only hope for excitement is the possibility of finding the match to the artifact previously obtained from the Roman ruins located there…or so he thinks.
But before he can start digging, he meets a beautiful scholar...one who just might be his perfect match.
Beware: This Victorian RomCom is full of plenty of naughty bits and laugh-out-loud moments! You’re going to love revisiting the house party of the summer at Fangfoss Manor!

As a member of the Queen's Angels--an elite trio of secret agents, masquerading as ladies-in-waiting to Queen Elizabeth Bruce--Melisandre Lamond has a most useful skill: Seduction. Mayhap 'tis her ability to understand others' desires, or mayhap a result of the hidden trauma she's never shared; whatever the root, Mellie has become skilled in the art of love, and knows the right ways to get a man to spill all his...secrets.
After an assassination attempt on the Queen, all evidence points to the Frasers of Lovat, surely under orders from their new laird, the deceptively handsome Lachlan Fraser. But even Mellie is surprised when the Queen announces her betrothal to the traitor, wondering how far her loyalty to the Crown really extends. Can she tempt Lachlan into revealing his treasonous plans, before she's forced to actually marry the man?
Since the Scottish War for Independence, all Lachlan Fraser wants for his clan is peace. He's happy working with his hands, building a strong future for his family and his beloved daughter. But duty calls him to Scone, where he's surprised to learn of his betrothal to one of the Queen's ladies...the very knife-wielding wench who'd so recently saved him from a cutpurse's attack!
He'll marry her, aye, but Lachlan vows to uncover Lady Melisandre's enigmas first! Because once he gets her home, and sees the way she effortlessly wins over his daughter and the rest of the Frasers, he begins to suspect she's not really the cold and haughty lady she's pretending to be.
Can this mis-matched betrothed pair learn each other's secrets before the assassin strikes again?

But to Finn Oliphant, this is exactly the news he’s been waiting for. You see, he’s already chosen his wife: the vivacious and intelligent Fiona MacIan, whom he fell in love with last year. She’s in love with him, so this whole “marriage ultimatum” thing should be easy-peasy. He’ll invite her to the Oliphant keep with her brother the laird, in order to sign all the betrothal contracts, and Bam! Done! They can get on with the babies!
Except…
It’s not that Fiona is getting cold feet, exactly. She’s fairly certain she loves Finn. Mostly. Well, verra likely, at least. But she’s never been the most self-confident of women, especially compared to her sister. Her identical twin sister, whom Finn mistakes for her upon arrival, which is super-awkward all around.
The idea of marrying Finn makes her warm and giddy—hopefully that’s just lust, not the ague—but how can she be certain he wants her? It’s hard enough to be certain of anything on Oliphant land, what with mad Aunt Agatha spreading rumors, five potential brothers-in-law offering terrible advice, and a mysterious ghostly drummer keeping them awake at all hours.
And mayhap Finn should’ve mentioned his identical twin brother, too? That would have saved everyone a lot of headache…and heartbreak. Finn and Fiona have plenty to learn about themselves and one another before they can be certain this marriage is a good idea. But unfortunately, they’re running out of time. Dun-dun-duuuuuuuun!
Warning: this comedy of errors is not for the uptight. There’s plenty of naughty scenes, more than a few anachronistic jokes, and an embarrassing number of mistaken-identity gags. Only pick up this book if you have a sense of humor, please.

That is, at least until the day she takes her son swimming and meets a handsome and mysterious stranger enjoying the water with his son. What harm could there be in having some fun with a man who refuses to tell her his full name or rank? And if he thinks the worst of her…well, that could lead to some fun too!
The Duke of Cashingham has no time for frivolities, but he’s given his heir, Matthew, his word that he’ll make an effort to find a second wife. Thus, he has made a point of attending the Fangfoss affair to meet each eligible lady, and has been disappointed. But when he meets an intriguing—and obviously easy-virtued—Scottish lady by the river, he sees no harm in suggesting an informal liaison.
But the more time Cash spends with her, the more he realizes Raina is exactly the sort of woman he wants for a wife. Too bad a duke can’t marry his doxy…
It’s up to mischievous Ewan and studious Matthew to convince their parents that, not only are the two adults in love, but they have a chance at their very own Happily Ever After…before the end of the house party!
Warning: This Victorian RomCom is full of plenty of naughty bits and laugh-out-loud moments! You're going to love this finale to Second Chance Manor!

It is to be The Match of the Season. At least, that’s what Lady Carlotta Merritt, sister to the cool and aloof Duke of Cashingham, has been told repeatedly by her mother. The Dowager is beyond thrilled about her daughter’s engagement to Society’s most eligible bachelor, Lord What’s-His-Face. Carlotta, on the other hand, would much rather be gallivanting around her brother’s Yorkshire estate, falling out of trees or fishing in the streams or reading one of her naughty books in the shade on a summer day.
But her mother has made it very clear that she’s to behave herself, as befitting the sister of a duke, and Carlotta has been trying, honest. But when Mother is called up to Scotland, she invites Carlotta and her fiancé to follow…sans chaperone. That’s when her brother volunteers his own brother-in-law—the illegitimate Scotsman with a charming grin, a wicked reputation, and battered hands which make Carlotta think all sorts of wicked thoughts—to tag along.
And he knows all the best ways to be wild.
Keith Oliphant knows exactly who he is; the natural-born son of an earl, a close friend to the laird of his clan, and the best damned bare-knuckled boxer in all of England and Scotland combined. These hands of his have done things most men can only imagine, and now they face their biggest challenge yet; holding the safety of a duke’s sister, one whose smile and love of adventure make him yearn for things he can’t have. Especially since she’s engaged to the complete clot-heid who is sitting between them in the coach.
Aye, this journey to Scotland will be a difficult one, despite the opulence of traveling with a duke’s sister. Between his impossible desires, Lord What’s-His-Face the fiancé, and Carlotta’s own wild streak, Keith suspects he’s facing his biggest challenge yet: when he delivers Carlotta to the duke, will she still be a virgin?
Warning: There’s naughty bits. A lot of them. And probably some ridiculously contrived accidents to get the pair of them together sans clothes. And of course, plenty of inappropriate jokes and eye-rollingly bad puns. Get ready for another hilarious Victorian RomCom, with all the best laughs you’ve come to expect from Caroline Lee!

Industrialist Jade Thacker is used to being in control of her own life. Which is why it’s damned galling to learn her well-meaning guardian plans to marry her off before she comes into full control of her inheritance! And a betrothal is one thing, but what’s this nonsense about marriage-by-proxy? Is she married, or isn’t she?
Well, there’s one thing she can still control: her virginity. Which is why she visited London’s most infamous male courtesan to rid herself of that pesky detail. But now, staring (horrified) up at the gorgeous man her possible-husband turned out to be, she’s reconsidering the whole scheme.
Loving women is one of the few things he’s good at…but he can’t forget her!
Life was going just fine—women, wine, more women—until Cameron MacKay’s father sent him that blasted letter. He loves the dear old coot, of course, but marriage? Especially a marriage-by-proxy? Please, this isn’t the fourteenth century! But when he opens the door to see the (horrified) expression on the face of his most recent client, Cam admits himself intrigued.
And now the one thing she wants…is him!
Cam knows why Jade doesn’t want to be married, but when a deluge strands them together in his cottage, she decides on a new goal: him. Or maybe it’s just that now she’s tasted the pleasure he can offer her, she wants more. Either way, he’s going to have to be the strong one in this crisis.
Too bad he’ll always be a rake at heart.
Warning: There’s nothing “too bad” about being a rake, right? Especially a rake stuck in a forced-proximity, oh-no-there’s-only-one-bed, fighting-his-own-best-interests sort of situation! This one starts super spicy and continues that way, and is full of laugh-out-loud bits you’ve come to expect from one of Caroline’s Victorian RomComs.

As the Oliphant falconer, Pherson commands some respect within the clan, but he much prefers the solitude of his cottage, with just his raptors and his daughter for company. Wee Wren is the only reason he’s trying so hard to make a life here among the Oliphants, and if they realized what exactly he was hiding from, they’d be sure to abhor him. Aye, ‘tis best to keep his head down, his talons furled, and his daggers ready.
This is working fine, until the laird’s daughter falls—quite literally—into his lap.
Now they’re working together to help Wren learn how to walk again, and Pherson knows ‘tis a bad idea to allow Wynda any closer to his heart. She’s bossy and smart and has a tendency to talk to ghosts—which is ridiculous—but she makes him want to be a better man. With her brilliant smiles and equally brilliant mind, is there any way he can stop falling for her?
When danger finally catches up with him, he’ll do anything to protect his daughter and the woman he’s come to love . . . even if that means turning himself over to the law.
Warning: you’d better tell your old book boyfriend that Pherson will make you consider cheating! Get ready for another sidesplitting romp through medieval Scotland with a brainy heroine, a desperately broody Highlander, an adorable little lassie, and more ridiculousness from this hilarious clan!

Ten years ago, Violet betrayed the man she loved…by marrying his father. It wasn’t her fault, not exactly (you know how these things go), but Malcolm was, quite frankly, more than a little put out by the news. Now, as the widowed Countess of Hatwaring, she wields power and wealth in her young son’s name, but nine-year-old Brom’s small empire is wobbling. Violet needs to start selling off some of his estates in order to maintain the rest…which means angering the man who already thinks her far too brazen.
His secret is the love which still shames him.
Malcolm Forbes, the illegitimate son of the Earl of Hatwaring, always thought of himself as academic and stoic. A decade of managing one of his father’s far-flung estates taught him to think before he acts, but when he receives a letter from his father’s widow—and the only woman he’s ever loved—stating her intentions to sell his home, he reacts most rashly.
Now they’ve made a brazen bargain.
A deal is made, and after a mere month as the young earl’s tutor, Malcolm will secure the deed to his home. Unfortunately, this means a month with the one woman who can enrage his anger—and his passions—unlike anyone else.
Violet, meanwhile, is determined to earn his forgiveness, even if it means risking everything she’s hoped for, and revealing her secrets.
This likely won’t end well.
WARNING: Of course it’ll end well, it’s a romcom. Be prepared for an angsty hero, a cheeky kid, quite a lot of embarrassing puns, and some really smoking bedsport. This second-chance secret baby romance will leave you laughing!
