When to buy this telescope:-
1.This can be a perfect buy for someone just interested in seeing the craters on the moon or rings on saturn or jupiter with its four moons.
2.Gift for a child to get him interested in astronomy
3.Occasional viewers.
When not to buy
1. First of all this is absolutely not for the impatient people
2. If someone is already interested in astronomy and is sure of pursuing the hobby.
3. Living in light polluted area
4. Want to see clusters or DSOs aka beyond the solar system
CONCLUSION-in a nutshell if u just want to get a telescope and have a jist of what astronomy is really like or want to get that spark ignited then it might be a choice as will show good views of the moon and moderate of planets but to someone who wants to spend some quality time and is very keen on taking up astronomy as a hobby for sure and is on a tight budget then 10x50 binoculars are way and way better choice (as long as there is no desire of planetary detials) and later you can buy a 5" reflector or possible a 6" dob telescope

We can take a close view of the nearby mountains..and moon. No stars and planets.

I'm sure this is not original celestron telescope. we can not see very well planets in the sky (like Jupiter and Saturn) and if you thinking about capture photos with the help of this telescope so I want to tell you it's impossible. I tried to capture Jupiter and Jupiter moons photos trust me it's not easy work it's impossible. And amazing think is when I was checking this telescope eyepiece, 2 eyepiece was not working( 4mm and 3X lens) and as I saw, in the description of this telescope on Amazon. seller mention there, lens coating is fully coated but lens is not fully coated it's normal glass lens. ☹️☹️☹️☹️🔭🔭🔭🔭🔭

But saying that, this isn't a hobby for the impatient. If she likes this, then in the near future I think we will buy one with a better mount.
