There are great sections on, spices & pulse types & a really useful American/English glossary. This is such a well thought out cooks cookbook.
The best part was when I came home from a big day at work to find my wife had made me an amazing surprise meal using two of the recipes! Thank you Chetna for an amazing book & insight into Vegetarian Indian Cooking.
I wish Chetna would bring out a completely vegan cookbook.
I guess I should have learnt my lesson by now! I did learn one thing though from watching a video she made where she uses a book called “Rebel Recipes“ the curry looked lovely and of course 100% vegan and healthy, so I bought that book (Rebel Recipes) it arrived and plan to make a couple of recipes this week!
I am sure if you are vegetarian, you will find lots to recipes in here that you can really enjoy, but being vegan myself, disappointed!
The index is sometimes not useful but flicking through the pages always gives me an idea.
Chetna gives storage advice for the recipes which is limited to the refrigeration. I would have really like to know about freezing - then I could double recipes.
SO PLEASED with this book and will use it time and time again.
