1. There are 11 tales, not 23.
2. The illustrations are b/w fuzzy, taken from random old 19th century PAINTINGS: seascapes, landscapes, skaters on the Thames, one I think of Endeavour stuck in the ice....different artists and subjects. Nothing bears any relation to Beatrix Potter. Halfway through the pictures stop altogether.
3. THE TEXT!!!!! Some lines have every first word is in uppercase, or whole lines are in uppercase.
Some pages are made up of 2 very long paragraphs. Some are made up of all 2 LINE paragraphs.
NO GAPS between stories....one runs into the nextAN ABSOLUTE JOKE....but not funny. AVOID
I could go on but the nonsense printing made it almost illegible. So I emailed the seller immediately. An immediate refund was made.
Such a disappointment...after the initial astonishment that it could ever have been passed as 'fit for consumption'!
