I reccommend for parents with young children for a read to think a head and have easy to cope
with children. I am not sure it would be so good if trying to correct problems with older children
As author of a parenting book, I identified with many of these ideas, ideas that will ensure your kid becomes the best kid they can be. This book is full of examples of kids who were able to be drawn out of their shells using the techniques discussed, so that they gained new friends and garnered support at school.
One point I agreed with in partucular, having raised three daughters, is that each child has different strengths and unique talents and once you can find your child's inate ability, you can focus your praise in that area. And your child will blossom.
Well done on this much needed book for parents today. It deserves to be in your parenting collection.
Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the book:
~ "Often some simple and consistent help and guidance from you (parent) can be the answer to your child's success."
~ "Everyone is capable of so much, as long as they have someone who believes in them and helps to develop the inner confidence they need to really achieve."
~ "...what matters most is the belief that you instill in your child through your own words and actions. By developing this belief, you're giving them the best gift you could imagine and that is the gift of confidence."
I think this book will be of great help to any parent. If parents puts the content of this book into practice, its influence will be of great help to society and our world. It's also an enjoyable read.
