After a year-long wait what I get in my hand is a novella explaining the after-effects of a war. I know showing this is important and Mass had done the same in A Court Of Mist and Fury where she did start the book showing the psychological impact the fight with Amarantha had on Feyre and everybody else involved in the war. However, having a book on a similar topic was unwanted. This book has no plot or major developments. Skipping this book will make no difference as it is just a thin bridge between the main series and the following spin-offs.

I have ranted in detail in my review post on my blog AlphaGirlReviews.com.
