Yes, there are a million books out there on building and leveraging business relationships, but the brilliant and wonderful Morag Barrett's terrific "Cultivate: The Power of Winning Relationships" definitely stands out from the crowd! A highly-experienced executive coach and leadership development specialist, Morag also proves herself to be an excellent writer and master storyteller. Written in a simple, straight-forward, and conversational style, "Cultivate" is filled with a variety of valuable tools, tips, and techniques to help the reader enhance their effectiveness through building and nurturing “winning relationships.” And Morag's central framework -- "The Relationship Ecosystem" model (introduced on page 37) is, alone, worth the price of admission! In short, if I were to recommend just one book on how to "cultivate" better business relationships, this would definitely be it. And as I found out from the back cover of her book, Morag's name is Scottish for "great"...and she definitely lives up to her name as not just a great person, but as a great consultant and author as well.
