About the authors
Brittany is a bestselling author, a mom, and an elementary school teacher. Her inspiration from her stories comes from the children she loves, both in her home and in her classroom.
Geneviève is a visual storyteller from Québec City, Canada.
Her mission: bringing strong, inspiring characters to life through vibrant illustrations, relatable stories, and a touch of philosophy.
Having both the creative soul of a child and the analytical mind of a marketer, Geneviève was blessed with the opportunity to start working as a designer when she was only 13. A decade later, she is now focusing on illustration and strives to empower children (of age or at heart!) through her work.

My concern with the book is the story didn't flow. It really felt forced. I think it was made to be a big "carpet time" (preschool teachers understand) get together book but it didn't have the heart that goes with that. It felt like it was missing something.
I do feel like this would be a good addition to a young classroom due to the topic. I think it would be a good reminder for students to think before whining.
