I did receive this book for free.
I really enjoyed the basis for this book. I like how it focuses on a way to eat for life. It doesn’t rely on a lot of pre-manufactured food, but uses whole ingredients that are healthy and available. You can learn portion control and integrate eating healthier into your everyday life.
This book gives you easy to follow guidance on how to make this lifestyle change and benefit from it. DASH was originally created for lowering blood pressure; that right there is a wonderful bonus. And the book will educate you on that as well as eating healthy to maintain weight. It goes right down to defining different types of carbohydrates, etc. As with anything that one does to lose weight, exercise is an important key to the process. I truly believe this book can help a person who really wants to lose weight and eat healthy achieve that goal!
