5.0 out of 5 stars One you shouldn't miss
By Vinod on 28 July 2019
Dare eat that - it serves the purpose for which it is written. It takes you through a journey that a wanderlust couple is onto... The lovely locals they meet, their unique ways of exploring a town and the bizzare foods they find AND EAT on the way! They even share their ratings of how they liked the food, the various currencies used for the purchase, where, what time and eaten how! Horses, sea urchins, bugs, pythons and everything in between - I'd dare eat any of that. The book has a few sheets of coloured images that draw even my 6 year olds to read it. Tryst me - my boys love reading along with me and it's a book with fairly neat language. Well written in a conversational tone, I cannot have enough of it. Thought, I do wish there were larger, more colourful illustrations along the way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must read book!!!!
By Richa Singhal on 24 November 2019
Being a foodie and a person to love to travel around the world, this book build a connection with me. Dare eat that, a guide to bizarre foods from around the world is a blend of travelogue and a food blog all together. It is an adventurous yet foodie twist story of Divya and Vivek who travel through ancient roads and modern markets. They seek to immerse in new culture, people and food.
After my reading i could image and find the soul of a place from it's food and all the experience shared.
This book is a must read if you are a food adventurer like me.
Congratulations Divya for this fantastic book. Looking forward to more adventurous stuff!!!!

Review-
1) The cover and the title of the book is apt and clearly depict the content inside.
2) The plot of the book is amazing and the author narrated all their journey experiences very well. There are some food which are very obvious and unacceptable. And some are very shocking.
3) In this book they talk about their experiences of food which they dare to eat from all over the world like United States, India, United kingdom, Luxembourg,Thailand,Australia,Cambodia,Vietnam,Singapore
4) Language used by the author is simple and lucid but I didn't like the writing style much.
5) Pictures, illustrations, maps showing their journey and notes are very helpful for the readers to understand.
6) Overall,an adventurous and informative read.
