Storyline (full of wit and humor)
The overall feel while turning the pages
I was motivated to keep it for myself. Both the books are equally amazing.
The Day the Crayons Quit is another of Jeffers' book, which we love.
This one has lost and forgotten crayons asking to be rescued from
different places. They all have a sad story to tell and a plea to be back.
A brilliant story with superb illustrations!

This is a firm favourite for my 5 year old to read together at bedtimes and she never tires and spotting all the different parts of the final picture.
We also noted appearances by other Jeffers previous illustrated characters. See if you can find them hidden on the pages :)
