4.0 out of 5 stars A gripping read
By Shan on 16 May 2019
I like to read short stories at times and Paul finch has written a nail-biting one. Story starts slow but gains pace exponentially as it moves forward. And that is what keeps you hooked to the novel. the plot is well crafted and seemed quite unique.
The characters were powerful but lacked detailing (now that is something to expect in a short story). The speed of events around Heck and Gemma and their reactions are something that will remain in the memory for long and that's what make this short story stand out.
Looking forward to reading more from Paul Finch.
