Primarily thanks to Amazon India for offering this under rs.4750 and delivering within decent time period. I have been using this for more than two weeks now. Belive me within this price range you can not get other tripod better than this one. Obviously it is not for those professionals who have used manfrotto, vanguard etc. But for us who love photography for their own course this one is god gifted and value for money. I used this to carry nikon 500 + kit lens (16-80mm, load 2.5kgs roughly), even I used nikon 200 - 500 (load around 3.6 kgs roughly) along with it's monopod l got awesome result. I never ever felt that legs are trembling or unsturdy. You can attach additional load under the spring hook attached with middle extension pipe to improve sturdiness. However, I never tried that as I never extended the last extension leg. The tripod can be extended upto 6 ft or even can be extended further upto 6.5ft using additional piece supplied along with this kit. The three way multifunctional ball head can be used to place the camera sideways for vertical shooting or macro photography. I love this feature ( not supported by the earlier version of Digitek DTR nor even supported by many costlier version of so called professional tripod). The quick release slide contains a bubble level in the front which is useful on uneven floor for leveling the camera. All in all the features are great within this price range. So far and so less after using decent time period I have found some pros and cons for judging the product to the new Byers: Pros: 1. Easy to use and compact in size. 2. Quick release slide for easy and quick ejection of camera. 3. Rubber grip for the detached monopod. 4. Circular balancing bubble for easy detection of levelling. 5. Weighty and sturdy metal tripod. 6. Separate control knob for different operation to avoid mess during shooting. 7. Rubber end grip at the bottom of the legs to avoid slip. 8. The camera can pan 360 degree horizotally without changing initial position over its bearing. 9. The very simple clockwise and anti clockwise turn to unlock and lock the extension tubes. 10. Last but not the least the value for money with bundle of worthy features. Cons: 1. Plastic clips for locking the hinges are not worthy at all. Seems to be worst element of this product. 2. Again plastic knobs for extension tubes but seems to have better quality than the clips. 3. Absence of rubber grip in the middle most extension tube, which is the carrying holder of the system. 4. Absence of additional leveling bubble on the slide, preferably on the other side for double check. 5. Absence of manual, which is a must for the beginners. 6. A little bit heavy for travels.
Really good product for the price, it's steady and strong, easy to handle, could handle reasonable load <5kgs, can reach more than enough height, its great for beginners. But I felt little wobbling in one of the joints. Except for that, I'm loving it.
Packaging was great, although it came inside a very big size carton box! Bought this for traveling purpose. At this price point this one is great. Good Build quality. Pan head is smooth enough for video shooting. I loaded nikon D750 with 50 and 85 mm lens and it worked fine. But in case of Full extension length it quite unstable. Better you use light weight DSLRs. Using my another camera Nikon D5300 with kit lens there is no issue. It's really value for money. Its not a pro model, but a good choice for beginners.
I purchased this tripod and found a good build quality and material. The best features I liked are as mentioned. >Well balanced I have checked with reducing its legs one by one and got no trouble or shake while capturing the shots. >It has also a handle to move your camera smoothly to shoot your videos or panorama shots. >A rotary gear to lift the camera up slowly. >Pro features like water level indicator. > Mounts are made up of heavy duty material. > Easy to carry bags > Good Packing. :)
Purchase this product for 900 rs only. The height of the product were around 7 feet , material quality also good , easy to handle DSLR camera. We can't compare with the professional . But for begginers and those who looking total value of money product. Buy this . Don't go for small tripods invest only once in this one
Good height, good maneuverability, light but steady and sturdy. Don't expect it to match the standards of a professional tripod. It's good for routine, informal shooting which is not meant to be marketed. There's a hook underneath to hang accessories. One can use this hook to hang some weight so that the stability of the tripod can be increased.
