From AudioFile

Merlin the Magician is in trouble, and Jack and Annie must help him by traveling to ancient Japan to discover the four secrets of happiness. Along the way, they eat sushi, watch sumo wrestlers, meet a great poet, are pursued by samurai warriors, and generally entertain listeners with vivid details of Japans past. Author Pope Osborne reads the story, creating distinct and recognizable voices for her main characters. Jacks is boyish and enthusiastic while Annies is high-pitched and girlish. Pope Osborne narrates at a pace that allows her verbal details--including especially beautiful images of Japan--to unfold in listeners imaginations. Children will welcome this pleasing entry in an enjoyable series. By Mridula on 8 March 2018
My child is 8 years old and likes reading. So wanted to try new books. Saw these books while browsing and just bought this.

He liked the book so much and completed it in one sitting. Basically there is a magic tree in their house which takes them to new places.

Gud story line. In every book the kids go for a new mission. Here they visit Japan.

The kids learn about different cultures and times of history. The book arrived in perfect condition.
