What I liked?
The twists and suspense element throughout the story is appreciable.
The verses from the Bible adds up to the suspense.
Climax is unpredictable.
What didn't go well ?
I felt there were a few open ends that needed completion.
An intriguing short read...
This is a novel about Erika, whose looses her parents in a car crash and decides to move to London to get rid of her bad memories. In London, she meets Lara and they share an apartment. They soon become best friends.
After a few months, she meets Ethan and fall for him. And eventually, they both get married after a short period of time. She then starts suspecting Lara and Ethan due to their changed behaviour.
Will she ever know what they both were hiding? Was something mysterious happening behind her back?
The book begins with a spark and you are hooked till the end. Each new chapter starts with a short quotation, decribing about what to expect from the chapter. The writing style is simple and easy to read. All the characters are well described. The plot is very interesting and has many twist and turns. But I wish the book to be a little longer.
Author: Mansi Narula Kashyap
Format: Kindle My Thoughts:
This book Erika is a short and exciting thriller. It is about a girl who lives alone in London. She has a roommate Lara, who is more than a friend too. She works at a flower shop for livelihood. She often is affected by evil nightmares. There are some unexpected things that she experiences also.
With a gripping story and shades of love, friendship, wedlock, anxiety, fear and a lot more, this story is worth spending time.

The book is in a universal language, and the book is suitable for readers of all age. With no elements of the objection, the story is a safe read.
What is the storyline?
The story is about a young woman named Erika, who is haunted by the unforeseen incidents in her life. Those past incidents and accidents often haunt her at nights, and she succumbs to severe nightmares. Some life-changing decisions also not help her much from making the past things better.

My take on the characters
The characters of a story are as important as the tone in which the story is set up. In this book, Erika, the central characters Erika and Lara, is crafted with fascinating details, attractive personalities and good strength. The emotions and feelings expressed by these characters are good. The nature of Erika is etched with poise and innocence. This combination makes her more humane rather than just a story's element. Ethan, another important character, is carved well.
How good is the author's writing style
The book is in accessible language. With no much complexity in narration or story-telling, the author has woven a good story. With the elements of friendship, psychic thoughts, fear and intriguing details, the story looks attractive. Also, the inclusion of Bible verses in the story added more charm, and at the same time, an element of consciousness. The oscillation between the past and present thoughts is described well in the author's writing. Indeed, the author's writing and creating quality content is worth mentioning and appreciating.
How entertaining is the book?
Though the book is a short one, about 84 pages, the narration and the story are quite captivating. The book is undoubtedly an entertainer for mystery and thriller story lovers.
Intriguing and exciting thriller!
Erika travels to London from Dublin after her parents die in a horrific car accident to rid herself of bad memories, frantic dreams, and terrifying hallucinations. With Lara, with whom she shares an apartment, her life settles into a new routine. They become the best of friends and have a great time in London, meeting new people. It's a wonderful life.
Erika meets Ethan, who is suave, professional, and dependable, a few months later. They have a whirlwind romance and are married within a week. Erika soon notices several strange occurrences, including the enigmatic Maya, obscure books about secret societies, and even murder.
Will she be able to make sense of these new supernatural events in her life, or will they completely overwhelm her and drive her mad?
After reading so many thrillers this is my personal favourite and has something thrilling in it in real terms. The unexpected, the unnoticed series of event will guide you through the path of unevenness and will ultimately trap you to think like the protagonist! Confusing? No, it won't be! It will surely be your companion in this thriller genre.
I recommend the book to all thrill loving member of my follow list to experience a short read with utter interest. A weekend gateway from all sorts of boredom.
