This cream does not deserve any stars basically. The 8 hour moisture is such a hoax! The cream doesn’t absorb well. I can’t even say that it is oily because sadly it’s neither moisturizing nor oily! After two generous layers of application I keep noticing a certain dry , pruning on the inside of my hands which is shocking and disappointing. The hands feel so dry it’s not even funny. And the smell?! It smells like some trip to cheap pharmacy. It’s an expensive hand cream and worth not even a single penny. I like to keep plenty of hand creams at my disposal- I have Neutrogena, palmers, St Ives , fab India, TBS and so far none of them have been least bit disappointing as This one. I think itd be safe to say that it doesn’t qualify as a cream at all.
I think I love the cream . It doesn’t make my skin dry and keeps it well prepped for long hours . My skin doesn’t breakout a lot due to this cream and isn’t heavily scented . It differs from skin to skin but suits oily / drying skin .
really disappointing for a Elizabeth Arden product. I have used the 8 hours original cream and body treatment and I was very happy. the fragrance in the hand cream is horrible. plus it is not a good moisturising product. I work in the beauty industry as a chemist and seeing that they used dimethicone in the ingredients (silicone) is poor. I'm not worried about the toxicity of silicones, I just know that silicones are used because they bring nice textures and smoothness. so you have the illusion that your skin is very soft then actually it moisturizes your skin very poorly. the hand cream doesn't penetrate through your skin and you end up with a lot little white solid stuff on your hands. I don't see anything positive in that product.
I ordered this without paying much attention to the negative comments about the smell. I’ve used lots of EA products over the years and they’ve always smelt nice. This is awful. It smells cheap, and too chemically. I’ll be going back to clarins even though it’s more expensive.
I was recommended this Handcream and will never look back! It smells amazing & the scent really lasts too. It is also really good for keeping my hands moisturised! I am guilty of biting the skin around my fingers and this really helps the little nips I've made heal quickly!
Reading reviews I worried this was genuine but worries were unfounded. Arrived in pristine condition, very pleased with purchase as has to be cheapest on the market, thanks Amazon. Product itself is amazing, I'm a new mum and wash my hands far too often and this is working wonders as find that is doesn't instantly wash off and is repairing my very dry hands
Great hand cream, goes on really quickly and smoothly not at all sticky or waxy just feels great. I have been applying a few times a day as my hands have been dry of late and this cream is really making a difference. I love this range of products and the hand cream has not disappointed.
