This book has some great-tasting recipes which are fairly quick and easy to make. Designing a meal plan from this book would be a good idea since there is a lot of overlap between recipes in regards to what ingredients are required. That makes things more convenient, and can help reduce the average cost of meals. The recipes are also fairly inexpensive to begin with and contain fairly common, inexpensive ingredients. Also, they are flexible recipes than can be adjusted slightly if you don't are missing a required ingredient, or a specific ingredient is very expensive where you live or shop.
The recipes are organized well, by season or type, which makes it easy to browse or find what you are looking for.
My favourite recipe is probably the Chicken Chilaquiles, which is a Mexican dish with chicken, chilies in adobo, cilantro, queso cheese (I usually substitute feta cheese), and taco chips. It's super easy to make and tastes great.
My only reservation about recommending this book is that most of the recipes, like others that have appeared in the Everyday Food magazine, are available for free on the Martha Stewart website.
Very easy recipes to follow. Ingredients that are easily found in any grocery store. Recipes are full of flavour and are healthy. Pictures are helpful throughout the book. A very easy book to use for everyday meals!! Recommendation: If you like Salmon try the Hoison broiler salmon from this book. So good, fool proof, Salmon turns out moist, buttery and full of flavour everytime and is cooked in a matter of minutes!! The book is super in so many wonderful ways!! Highly recommend it!!

I began using this book a few weeks ago (after I tried a tortilla pie a friend brought to work) and am thrilled with the quick and easy recipes I can find and use. I truly recommend this book to all busy families who need new ideas for fresh and fast healthy meals.
