Great pictures are a combination of creativity and technology. You may see a really interesting object or person or find an unusual viewpoint but if you cannot control the camera the chances are you won't do it justice.
Brian Black is very aware of this and put pen to paper to help you master these three distinct yet inextricable related ideas. Further he gives you ideas of how to apply your newly mastered knowledge to produce the sort of images you see in the glossy magazines. This book is not dealing with new or ground breaking camera techniques but Brian has pulled the information together in a consumable form for easy digestion. And of course like any newly acquired skill unless you practice, practice, practice you won't gain the long term benefit.
All in all a great introduction to the world of photographic exposure.
