"Sheโ€™s the drug I need. Sheโ€™s my only cure."
The author has done it again! It is written so well that this story could definitely be turned into a movie.
Aarav is struggling to cope with the death of his wife Jhanvi, but when his friend Aman asks him to help save his failing business and care for his daughter, Aarav reluctantly agrees. At a rival's party, Aarav is shocked to meet Khushi, the girlfriend of his rival, who bears a striking resemblance to Jhanvi. He feels in his heart that she is his Jaan. The more time he spends with her, the more he is convinced that she is Jhanvi. Meanwhile, Khushi is confused by her feelings for Aarav and her connection to his daughter.
The question arises: Is Khushi really Jhanvi or just her doppelganger? Read to find out in this incredible story. I loved how Jaya and Aman had Aarav's back, and the love Aarav had for his Jaan was just out of the world, intense. And don't forget how cute Aarvi was.

3.0 out of 5 starsOkay-ish read!
Reviewed in India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ on 23 March 2022
I remember writing a glorious review of the first book- Forbidden. I loved Aarav Raichand in the book. And never in a million years did I imagine they get another book. Why though??! The first ended on such good note that reading the blurb left a unhappy feel in my gut- call it a premonition that this will ruin the first book for me.

It could have had any new characters in place of Aarav and Jhanvi. But I understand the author wanting to spend less time on the character evolution and the specifics- you and just directly delve into the plot because the audience are already aware of the personalities of the lead. The glitch is, even with so much of background story, the book is still awfully long! Like a 150 pag extra long. Tight editing would have helped its cause.

The plot is ever predictable. I still don't understand the need for a second book though. It baffles me completely. And the villain was pretty boring. I could help laugh out loud when there was a single chapter with the villain's POV. Completely unnecessary.

I dont know if I like the Aarav and Khushi here. I still can't make up my mind. Every line I read I remember the older versions and it was very difficult to like these guys.

All in all, an average read, okay ish, if its not for the length!! Editing please.

I love all of Madhuri's books, but 'Forbidden' was special. So after huge expectations and a long wait, my heart just goes WOW.

The story begins with Aarav wallowing in grief at Jhanvi's loss. (The prologue is heart wrenching). His friend Aman pleads with him to come out of his stupor for his daughter and his flailing company's sake. He goes to his rival groups party with the intention to warn them off. There he is stunned to see his rival's girlfriend Khushi, who is a replica of his dead wife Jhanvi. His head knows she cannot be his wife, but his heart refuses to believe anything but. From here, he goes on a mission to find out everything about Khushi and her life. He feels it in his heart that she is his Jaan. He stalks her, ambushes her, seduces her, pursues her, and as a result his conviction and firm belief that she is Jhanvi intensifies the more he is with her.

Khushi is completely taken aback with her undeniable attraction towards Aarav. She refuses to believe she is Jhanvi and rebukes Aarav's every opportunity to get close to her. But she feels a natural pull towards Aarvi and Aarav's family members. The interactions between Aarav, Khushi and Aarvi are very emotional. Love how Aman is a rock behind Aarav giving him his undying loyalty and support. The cherry on the cake was the epilogue and the poem at the end.

How does Aarav convince Khushi that she is his Jaan? Does Khushi finally accept Aarav and her family as her own? What is the mystery behind Jhanvi's accident and Khushi Thakur? Read the book to know the above.

Aarav Raichand's revenge was hot, but his unconditional love and perseverance, is hotter. The sexy banters, hot makeouts, swoony dialogues, his larger than life persona, his arrogance, his confidence is unlike any other male protagonist. If you love intense, passionate love stories, this is highly recommended.

This is the best series I have read so far. Fallen is full of emotions for Aarav. The ending couldn't be better than this. Every book of yours has the potential to become a blockbuster film. I am expecting more series like this from youโค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜

This is the best romance book I have read so far. Aarav is in every way dream man. He is manly, romantic and ohh so sexy. I loved him. There are many books who have dominant and intense male lead. But Aarav have refreshing sensuality which flutter your heart. Jhanvi was up to the mark in this one matching up with Aarav in every way and setting her foot. I love the way story took turn cause usually after reunion female lead lost her charm that's why I like the way Jhanvi stood for herself despite having child. It shows that along with mother and wife or daughter in law you are first a woman and it's your responsibility to look after that woman. I am glad author point outs female lead strong character and she pulled it off beautifully. I am very happy

I started this book after I completed the part 1 : Forbidden.

It's like Madhuri has kept you on the edge with twists and turns and surprises on the way. The way she has sketched Aarav would be anyone dreaming her real life partner to be like him, love and care for her just like he cares about Jhanvi. And any guy would want an independent, inloving and giving girl like Jhanvi.

It is heart wrenching when Aarav is in pain but joyous when they unite.

I thought that Aarav & Jhanvi were done. But no the second part was filled with lots of romance, seduction, jealousy and love. I would definitely recomment this book to all the romance fans. Madhuri Tamse again managed to surprise me. The journey of her characters is simply beautiful.

It's really very intense love story with passionate and possessive husband (Aarav) who is making sure to remind the love and relationship between him and his wife (Jahnvi) who forgot him because of accident and she is not leaving any chance to reject his advances. Read the book if you want to see how he succeeds in his mission. Madhuri has written it so beautifully as always like all her other books. Eagerly waiting for the next books. All the best dear.

The story moves ahead from the special epilogue of last book. And the progression is good. Sometimes the approach of lead characters baffled me but then itโ€™s fictional book so all is fair ๐Ÿ˜Š
I loved the way Aarav/Khushi/Jhanvi interactions are written. Shows very nicely the changes they have undergone. Aaravโ€™s understanding of these changes and his willingness to embrace them are so ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ the changed man is still not changed back to his ruthless self๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป loved the book
