The beauty of this yellow sunshine is that it's actually a work-book not just a book on content- video play. The modern narrative style is so fresh, easy and original. Before reading this in 5 day dash, i did go through some of Aashish Chopra talks. And I could find his infectious energy & Punjabi dil-dari narrative in every square inch of this book real-estate. Ixigo case studies are over indexed and skewed ( it works as they are his original experiments) but i wished outside this realm if he has chosen body of work of others and shared his analysis for their success. this is where i might score negative ( -0.5) but overall if you are even loosely connected with content or digital marketing or godforsaken marketing, slap your face if you haven't read or planning to read this gem.

I read this book and loved it.
Aashish takes us through both the big picture view as well as the nitty gritty detail oriented processes involved in putting together and making a video go viral.

Some things he teaches, which I liked include:
(1) Shot Selection and Editing - to ensure that the video's visual language and thumbnail appeal maximises the chances of a viewer sharing the video.

(2) How is Viral-Video making for mobile different from making films for cinema or shooting videos for TV screens or computer monitors - and how to shoot and select video formats that will work accross social networks.
Aashish shares many hard won lessons of experience that I found invaluable.

(3) B2B marketing and how to write blog copy that works for personal branding as well as a sure-shot process to help you churn out posts, videos and articles even if you're camera shy or suffering from writer's block.
