Rowan
I'm in the business of creating fairy tales.
Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels.
Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland.
My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her.
Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias.
By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don't get happy endings.
Not when we're destined to ruin them.
Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride, I should have been fired.
Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job.
The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I'd ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn't care.
At least not until I discovered his secret.
It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn't fix everything.
Especially not us.
The Fine Print is the first book in a series of spicy standalone novels featuring three billionaire brothers.

"She shines so brightly that everything else pales in comparison. I feel helplessly trapped in her magnetic field, so close to the sun I might burst into flames."
Zahra Gulian is sunshine personified. She was funny, happy go lucky, carefree, selfless, humble, optimistic, strong willed and enthusiastic. She didn't let her past with her ex defer her or put her down. Instead she decided to live her life to the fullest and that's what I loved the most about her. She didn't let one incident define her personality and tried to keep other people around her happy. With her obsession with books and tv shows, she became even more relatable to me.
"Rowan is like a secret code I want to crack—a human Fort Knox I’m interested in breaking into, if only to uncover a vaulted heart full of gold."
Rowan Kane was the complete contrast compared to Zahra's vibrant personality. He was grumpy, reserved, broken, arrogant, curt, cynical and oblivious but had a heart of gold hidden inside. For years, he thought he was selfish but after meeting Zahra, he slowly let his guard down. No one could understand him better than Zahra did. He was closed off but it was because of a reason and when it was explained, I could really understand him and his pov.
"I’ll never stop being greedy when it comes to Zahra. She will always be the exception to any rule and the one person I’m willing to screw the world over for. Because if she’s not happy, I’ll ruin whatever stole her smile, myself included."
Rowan & Zahra were like yin and yang. One could not simply exist without the other. I really enjoyed the pace of the story. The way Rowan slowly but gradually started to understand the depth of his feelings for Zahra was portrayed beautifully. His not so subtle but little gestures towards her warmed my heart. When he smiled just for her and the kind of person he became with her (in private) was adorable. Rowan's relationship with Zahra's sister Ani was what made me love him to the fullest. What I liked the most about the characters was that they both had depth. One simply chose to hide the pain beneath a bubbly facade and one wore his indifference on his sleeve.
"There’s no other word to describe the way he worships me. I feel like I’m laid on an altar, with Rowan showering me with his devotion."
The book made me cry and laugh a lot. It was full of angst, tension, a bit of drama, funny and entertaining banter and a chemistry full of passion. I devoured the book in one sitting! The writing was fabulous and kept me hooked. Also, the descriptions of dreamland felt realistic and I could envision the setting clearly. It is definitely one of my favourite reads from this year. The side characters were perfect and I'm so excited for the upcoming books in the series. However, the one couple I look forward to the most is Declan & Iris. (hopefully she is his fc) Anyways, the book was absolute PERFECTION and I can't wait to read more from this word!

I'm not okay. My emotions are all over the place.
I fell in love with Zahra on the very first page. Her personality was *chef's kiss* I loved how there were mentions of special children and the problems common people have to face due to the greed of the rich. I felt so much reading this book. Every time Zahra was hurt or going through something my stomach was in knots and I had to stop reading just to take a breath. I felt like I was Zahra.
Rowan, Rowan, Rowan, he is one fine man. But tbh I didn't really like him, much less prefer to read about him in the beginning but he slowly grew on me. I loved the character development, for both of them, it was really good. The way Zahra stood up for herself at the end was everything. Also, you could see the gradual development in Rowan, it wasn't sudden it was slow it took time but that is life, you cant change overnight and that was something I loved!
Also, why can't I get men who create random people just to talk to me?
I loved Zahra, I loved Rowan. I even loved Declan and Iris (I can't wait to read their book after writing this review!!) But my favourite was CAL. Hahaha, I love that guy! No one can tell me otherwise! Ah and also Ani, she is such a sweetheart! <3
Definitely recommend this book!

But unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed! I found it was very badly written, and I couldn't fall in love with the male character...the female mc annoyed me. I dont reccomend this book if you are a person who reads a lot and enjoys good writing. But if you're a beginner and don't want a story too harsh, it's alright.

To say this book was good is an understatement. It’s an easy read that will leave you wanting more - specifically Declan’s and Cal’s stories. The characters of Rowan and Zahra are relatable and believable; they’re so well written that you can feel their pain and their happiness. Lauren’s writing makes you smile and laugh but also she’d a few tears at some points.
I’ve rated this book 4/5 stars; I haven’t given it the full five stars only because rating a book 5 stars is rare for me.
If you love easy banter, lots of chemistry, a fair amount of steam, grumpy/sunshine characters and workplace romance, this book is for you.

It was okay as far as romances go. I don’t really like the poor girl/rich guy trope but I knew what I was getting into.
Spoilers below!!!
What bothered me was the practically insta-lust between the two. Like the first time he sees her, he’s already ready to go.
I know it was part of the character for Rowan to be an a-hole but I would have like Zahra to tell him off for all the times he was awful to her. There’s broody, morally grey and mean characters and then there’s plain humiliating and insulting, and for me Rowan was more of the latter.
And don’t get me started with the pregnancy in the epilogue, she’s 26 for crying out loud.
I however appreciate that these are more personal preferences than constructive criticism so I tried to be fair with my rating.

Well, at least it explains your unhealthy obsession with Mr.Darcy. 』
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
We finally have a true winner in 'a romantic comedy from 00-s' category.
We have an interesting plot twist from grandfather than in order to receive our part of family business we need to do certain things (make an improvement in the park or find a wife or something else). And no surprise that Rowan is not amused by his task and without a doubt he will rethink al his past choices and decisions from childhood. He lost host desire to be part of the dreamland business long time ago, and now he is planning to do his part and leave the park. So imagine his irritation when girl who is definitely not falling in his strict, rule based world becomes the center of his attention and she is a Creator needed for his task?
And fun dance of love-denial-love-betrayal-love is in full swing.
I bet you can predict all ‘lies and pains’ which can exist in this situation, when we have a grumpy man with traumatic childhood and a woman who is a sunshine, but even with all this predictability this story was hilarious and cute and fun to read.
So i can not and will not complain about plot and characters, cause I genuinely enjoyed this book (i read it in 1 day) and will gladly continue with the series.

Putting the characters to one side for a minute, for me, the backdrop of the Disney-esque theme park was so different & charming that it had me swooning like I was back to being a 6 year old watching Cinderella & believing in fairy tales again….arhhhhh💓💓💓
Zahra was such a well written MC with enough back bone and strength while still being sweet, funny and cheerful all the time, which was the opposite of Rowan. Rowan came across as this cold, unfeeling and bad tempered boss when in reality he was so far removed from that persona. In fact, I bet he’s the most caring and sensitive one out of his other brothers.
The chemistry between both Zahra & Rowan was always there simmering away in each chapter but Rowan really, really had to work for it 😁 From creating an alias employee so he could text Zahra, to following her around the theme park & going on scarey rides with her lol, to organising a book signing of her favourite author 🥰
One of the other relationships which made me melt was Rowan’s friendship with Zahra’s sister Ani, who is diagnosed with Downs Syndrome……how sweet were they together?!
Read this book if you fancy curling up to a book with funny banter, opposites attract, guy falls first who in turn finds himself. Great character development with a fairytale backdrop.
Onto the next book in this series of Dreamland Billionaires with Declan’s story of a marriage of convenience trope!
