I love floret and everything they stand for , I throughly enjoyed their other two books , but this book wasn’t what I had imagined . The photos are beautiful and it’s printed on lovely high quality shiny paper , but information wise , it wasn’t as clear as floret videos are in dividing and propagation . It doesn’t compare with the first two books in any way . Such a shame .
This book is beautiful, if you like looking at photographs of dahlias, go for it. The first part of the book is about growing dahlias but sadly not informative or educative enough. The second part of the book is a catalogue of dahlias grown at the Floret Farm. Beautiful book but lacking in depth information.
It’s a pretty picture book and not much else. Was very disappointed with this book almost half of the book was a picture catalogue of the varieties she grows which made me feel like it was a glorified advert for selling tubers. The rest of the book was general information about growing dahlias and a few pages of pictures of arrangements with dahlias ( no steps in arranging just ingredients). It is a pretty book and lovely to look threw just not much else.
Nice photos but I was disappointed that so much of the book is dedicated to a catalog of Dahlia varieties. I guess if this book is for someone who is discovering dahlias for the first time it has some good basic growing information but if you are an experienced gardener I think the book will leave you wanting. More a picture book than anything.
