What happens when a fun group of fabulous women authors come together to write a love story?
They hit it out of the park and give us a steamy romance that is heartwarming, poignant and funny while smashing multiple stereotypes simultaneously!
A girl and a guy can be best friends, a girl can make the first move in a relationship, it's ok for both parties in a relationship to be insecure, it's absolutely ok for a woman to think of her dreams and ambitions while also envisaging a happily ever after, it's ok for a guy to move across continents to be with his love - all this and so many more make the novel 'Forever Yours' by Andaleeb Wajid, Shilpa Suraj and Alisha Kay a dream read.
And it's not that they do all this by shouting from the rooftops - it's done organically through the course of the stories of Manan and Aditi, Karthik and Sanjana & Sid and Dani and their happily-ever-afters! I love that the three stories are different types of romances - enemies turned lovers, attraction and lust at first sight and arranged marriage turning into love, yet they flow seamlessly into each other as all of the characters are related in some way or the other.
It takes 3 wonderful friends sitting in 3 different parts of the country to write a 3 part novel that at once seems like a cohesive whole yet with a distinctive magic in all 3 separate parts, and that's the magic of Andaleeb, Shilpa and Alisha. I had fun reading about the grumpy Manan, the gentle Aditi, subliminal Karthik, strong-headed Sanjana, charming Sid and adventurous Dani and their exploits in this one.
A wonderful read that will make you go awwwww and oooohhhh at various points in the story, you will enjoy this one as much as I did, reading after my house fell silent - because really is there any better way to read a love story than tucked into your warm and cozy bed at night!

A fake engagement has gotten disturbingly real…
When a pretend engagement ends in a very real combined bachelor/bachelorette weekend in Goa, three couples find their lives going from chaotic to disastrous…
Hatefully Yours by Alisha Kay is the quintessential enemies to lovers story with a very interesting twist.
Aditi and Manan hate each other but love their mutual best friend, Karthik. Planning his bachelor party is a trip to hell sprinkled with accidental kisses that taste of heaven. Past misunderstandings, present attraction, and a future built on hope all tangle together to make this weekend one to remember.
Sinfully Yours by Shilpa Suraj is the story of a one night stand turning into nights that they hope never end.
Sidharth is Bollywood’s biggest hit-turned-overnight-flop. His best friend Sanjana’s bachelorette in Goa is the perfect place for him to hide out and drink his sorrows away. Until he passes out in the arms of the extremely hot pixie who moonlights as a bartender in a shack in Goa. And Dani is left with an armful of drunk movie star who is as messed up as he is hot.
Deceitfully Yours by Andaleeb Wajid is the story of what happens when a fake relationship starts to feel very, very real.
Sanjana and Karthik just wanted their parents to stop talking marriage to them. So, they faked an engagement and now their parents are not talking marriage but planning a wedding instead. When their friends throw them a combined bachelor and bachelorette party, they use the opportunity to plan their breakup. Except behind all well laid plans lies the path to disaster.
Three love stories, three oddball couples, one epic weekend in Goa…
Will they find their heart’s twisted path or focus on the brain’s straight-but-boring one? Will they gamble on their happily-ever-after or choose to leave Goa as they came, single and not ready to mingle?

Beginnings of all 3 parts are quite mixed-up!
An experiment to find sexual orientation? A bartender getting mushy over a drunk customer? To propose a 'fake relationship' few minutes into a meeting? A suicide? A smart MBA from Wharton working at a bar in Goa? Addiction issues of a co-star or a sibling? A chance encounter with a well-meaning 'Didi'? All of these sound a bit weird!
As the tales unfold, 'Deceitfully Yours' races ahead in build-up. In this Part, the turn in the relationship while in Goa seems a lot more mature, though the 'butterfly' part appears to be a bit unreal. The couple's intimacy, from the swimming pool onwards, has variety, depth and time span, with dialogues which are both refreshing, witty and apt.
A good read, apart from the surprising 'coincidences' in all the 3 tales.

3 different authors 3 different love stories all blended beautifully in an amazing book. Their styles and temperament are different yet they managed to amalgamate their thoughts in a beautiful love story.
All 3 love stories are beautiful and complete. They create backdrops for each other yet are heroes in their own way. Be it Manan and Aditi or Sid and Dani or even Sanjana and Kartik the chemistry is developed by the authors in their own signature style.
Aditi and Manan love to hate each other and always try to put the other down. Beneath this hate is also love which is overpowered by misunderstandings and their insecurities. They both deny their feelings which runs deep. Thrown together by situation for arranging their best friend’s bachelorette they try best to stay neutral.
But sparks fly and, in this process, they explore their feelings. Also, here the rest of the main leads and their stories are introduced.
Siddarth a successful star is running away from his past and media. He bumps into Dani who is a recluse hiding from her own successful family. Trying to build an image and life for herself they become each other’s anchor and strength in life and battle with death of near ones, the ones they have blamed themselves for.
Sanjana and Kartik are thrown into this marriage by their parents and both aren’t sure of this decision. Both want different things in life, are insanely attracted to each other yet stay away as they don’t want to hurt themselves. Their bachelor party is planned by Aditi and Sid and that’s how they all come together.
Unputdownable. Hats off to Alisha ,Shilpa and Andaleeb. Looking forward for more such beauties from you all. Superb book brilliant attempt.

Three renowned authors
Three distinctive writing style
Three enchanting love stories
One successful collaboration
When three amazing writers get together to weave their written magic, the result is a fun ride with three wonderful stories, each seamlessly blending with the other.
Alisha's magic - Manan and Aditi share a love hate relationship. Insanely attracted to each other, yet giving off the cold shoulder vibes, this story explores their relationship and how a revelation at the end bring them closer and more in love with the other. A super fun read. It also introduces us to the characters in the other stories.
Shilpa's magic - Sid, an actor, trying to escape a scandal, comes to Goa for his friend's bachelorette party and in a drunken stupor meets Dani, an elusive heiress. Sparks fly and they hook up to have a holiday fling. How that fling turns to love, how they both battle with death of their near ones, how they overcome their insecurities and come together is what this story is about. A sweet and a sensitive story.
Andaleeb's magic - Karthik and Sanjana meet at a park and get into a fake engagement to appease their parents. Their mutual friends decide to give them a bachelor/bachelorette party in Goa. Realisation strikes, attraction flares and they start developing feelings for one another. It is a cute story with oodles of steamy read.
Love how all the three stories unfold in Goa. Desire blooms, misunderstandings get cleared and love blossoms giving all three their HEA.
Highly recommended guys. Go for it.

A reading escape in Goa!

My favourite story was of Aditi and Manan, the emotional transition between the hate to love was executed beautifully! Siddharth and Dani’s story was a breath of fresh air, I absolutely loved Dani and how strong she was. And then there is the to be married coupled Karthik and Sanjana, too cute. Perhaps the links between each of the individual stories could have been stronger to keep the reader hooked for the entire novel because it felt like reading three completely different stories. But regardless, an enjoyable read :)
