Product description
About the Author
Dr Devdutt Pattanaik studied medicine but decided he loves telling stories better. He feels stories are like Eclair sweets, if you chew long enough, you get a burst of the chocolate that is locked inside. So rather than working as a doctor, he decided to write and tell ancient Indian stories and reveal the idea-chocolate within them. He believes these stories are the gifts of our ancestors. He has been doing this for a long time and even uses the wisdom of these stories to help businesses.

This omnibus consists of an interesting mix of stories based Mythological Hindu Gods. It's a relatively short read, however.. Can be finished in a couple of hrs. Would like to read more of such stories in the future.

Dr.Pattnaik is a great story teller undoubtedly...his penchant for details and connecting mythology to our every day life is just fabulous.
The multiple Fun in devlok stories in this book are a keeper.
Despite the book being for children...even adults will find it refreshing.

Such a fun collection - great for 8-14 years kids IMO, learning mythology and so much fun.
Even adults can find out a few lesser known facts about our Gods in a unique comic book way.

The book I have received is having very poor quality of printing. Some is the alphabets from the words are missing. I will suggest if you wants to keep books for long time then buy it from direct shop after examing it & not online.

Devdutt never fails to impress me. This book though written for kids, equally enjoyable by adults as well.
