This is 2018 edition Lucent GK.
Bought it after about 10 years. Just to time pass and gain knowledge
Good book.
I was selected in government job due to this book in 2010.
It covered my full General Studies.
Good to gain Knowledge.

its an awesome book.. all must read it to increase knowledge; everything about Indian history; geography; international affairs us covered in a brief way.

The book is good. The book is worth its price. This body covers the following topics
1. Indian History 2. World History 3. Geography 4. Indian Polity and Constitution 5. Indian Economy 6. Physics 7. Chemistry 8. Biology 9. Miscellany 10. Computers. The book consists of basics in all the above topics. The information in the book is very systematically arranged.
The book is useful for many competitive examinations even though the book does not cover the above topics in details.
I recommend this book for the students who require the basics in General Studies

In my opinion, this is the best General knowledge book available in market. The topics covered are widespread and the style of presentation is to-the-point. Each section has been compiled with succinct manner and ample up-to-date information is provided. The book is divided into 10 sections, namely: Indian History, World history, Geography, Polity and constitution, Economy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Miscellany and Computer. An appendix has been provided about Census of India 2011. The size of the book is A4, hence it is very suitable to handle effortlessly and easily. Only disappointing thing of this book: lots of very silly spelling mistakes are scattered throughout the book which are clearly due to the proofreading mismanagement.

It a really good book
Recent facts are really useful which have helped me to understand the concepts especially in Economics and Miscellenaous facts.
And the information about Indian History at the end is quite useful as it helps in revision.
This is a very good edition and changes that have been made from the from edition have proved to be quite useful.
Also the matter related to current news is good.
