Blurb: The blurb of the book is written perfectly highlighting the core of the story.
Cover: The front cover of the book is catching and it is depicting the major substance of the book.
Title: The title of the book is simple yet significant according to the base content of the book.
Language & narration: Language of the book is lucid & simple enough to comprehend and the vivid descriptive narration of the events made the book more pleasing to read.
Plot: The plot of the book crafted thoughtfully keeping the aspect of a Love series in mind. I’d like to say that, in a simple yet ecstatic way, the author developed this first book in this series quite captivatingly.
Setting: Setting of this story is in Mussoorie – Dehradun.
Characterization: The characters of the story are portrayed clearly and each one of them is finely justified to their respective roles throughout the book. Name of some characters mentioned in the book are- Ishika, Aarav, Suraj Bhatia, Mrs. Baakshi, Kishan, Bhushan, Gauri.
Theme: Love, Romance, Paranormal.
Content & My Verdict: This book is the 1st book of the “It’s all about Love” series by the author Sourabh Mukherjee. I have to admit that this story has made me curious to go through the next book in this series indeed. First of all, this particular theme is enough to draw & hook my attention towards and with this book, and the content has done the rest of the work.
Following an unpleasant incident and misunderstanding between two live-in partners Ishika & Aarav, Ishika parted her way from Aarav and that incident left him numb and shattered from inside. Aarav was feeling alone and to compose himself and also to finish his 1st novel, he landed in Mussoorie, which was his ancestral home, and he spent some most memorable time there in his childhood, with his cousins and other family members, while the host was his uncle Suraj Bhatia. Aarav decided to pen down his uncle’s journey and turn that into his first book. While going through an unfinished part of his uncle’s (late) life, Aarav discovered such facts about him from his diary, that left him stunned to the core…
What was the truth that was hidden and buried long ago in those pages of the diary? What kind of shock did Aarav get to face? What was the significance of the ‘gift’? To know these answers, grab your copy of this book now and read it in a go.
Author Sourabh Mukherjee has neatly penned down a simple yet touching journey of love, feelings and emotions, in a compact way, and touchingly of course. Starting the story with a sensitive issue and ending this volume on that similar note is what I like the most. The journey of Suraj Bhatia was what this story signifies. The pain, misunderstanding, solitary, emotions, love, innocence, and sacrifice- everything is portrayed here evidently. I liked the way author maintained the authentic descriptive narrating style throughout. The climax gave me a heart wrenching feeling that I was not expecting. Soulful love is what the journey beholds and more. Would be eagerly looking forward to the rest of the books in this series.
Recommendation: I would like to recommend this book to love readers and romance lovers and to everyone who loves to go through soulful journey of love and life. Thank you.
Rating (Overall): 4/5 Stars.

Review -
" The Gift " by Sourabh Mukherjee is the 1st book of the “It’s all about Love series". The theme of the book is enough to hook my attention towards the novel as I am a romantic fiction lover.
With a great message and emotional touch, the story of the book is short and simple. The protagonist of the story is Aarav who is a writer.
The story starts with a surprise news that Aarav's live-in girlfriend is pregnant. He gets anxious, he thinks he isn’t ready to take this responsibility and says something that upsets her and she decides to leave the house immediately. In the same week the deadline to submit the draft of his novel to the publishers is due. With so many things happening in his life,he decides to visit his ancestral ( Suraj Bhatia uncle’s ) house in Mussoorie where he could unwind and finish his novel and also get a clearer perspective towards his relationship.
What happened next in the story ? What happened further when Aarav reached to his ancestral's house ? Did the misunderstanding / problems between two live-in partners gets clear ? Well to know all the answers af these questions just go and buy the copy of this wonderful story and be the part of the It’s all about Love series. I dont want to ruin the feel of the story.
The title "The Gift " is simple and not so catchy yet it completely justifies with the story..
On the other hand the cover page of the book is a eye catching and also it depicts the main plots of the book and the text ' It's all about love series ' on the front side gives hints to the reader that the story is about love.
Language of the book is lucid , simple and easy to understand. Characterization of the story built so well.
