Simple yet absorbing. The style of writing is such that one feels he/she is that little Gopi himself/herself. The sketches are simply amazing. My niece seems to have liked it. I am sure she will get hooked to Sudha Murthy's Mam's style of writing soon.

This little book is so freaking cute and fun to read.
It's all about this puppy (actually a real pup!) Gopi which is being brought up in a very loving family of adults. Occasionally, Gopi does get visits from his human cousins Krishna and Anoushka.
Everyone just loves Gopi ever since they first set their eyes on him.
I mean who wouldn't! I fell in love with the colourful yummy illustrations! Love the art so much, dear artist, Sandhya Prabhat. Your art is so beautiful and endearing!
I love how this book spreads a warm message from the doglovers. It might seem like doglovers go overboard with the love, care and attention towards their pets but, believe me, our pets need them otherwise there's no point in adopting dogs or pets.
I love how it focuses on how to take care of puppies and taking the help of vets on how to take care of pets and not feeding them whatever we like or just keep them chained for the sake of keeping pets.
My heart is so happy, if my heart knows how to feel optimum happiness!
Love the writing as well. I mean who wouldn't love Sudha Murty's simple amazing writing!
I love the real pictures of Gopi towards the end of the book.
