Pros- 1. When the item came I was initially apprehensive of the build of the pot stand particularly the 4 legs (they seem so feeble), so as soon as it was delivered I tested my human force (I can exert enough force to destroy anything :)) on the legs of the stand to check if it bends but i was happy to see that it could take my onslaught without bending at all. I have to confess, I could have bent the legs, but then we don't expect the pot stand to withstand such pressures, but only the weight of the pot, isn't it? Pics of the welded sections attached, just in case you like to see a zoom-in ! 2. The entire stand is made of Wrought iron but powder coated (not painted, but powder coated which is better) in black paint to prevent rusting. Considering its exposure to water been sprinkled daily I expect this will need black anti rust paint after sometime let's say after a year or so. As someone else reviewed earlier, this is not steel but iron 3. The height of the stand is just right- not too high nor too low. Lower height inhibits cleaning of the floor using a wet broom and higher stand Carries the risk that the pot may fall down if you have wind in your area or by accidental push with kids in the house. 4. While the top of the stand has strong flat bars on which 5he pot can be placed directly, I prefer to keep a pot tray to provide a flatter surface for the pot (check the attached pic) 5. To test the strength of the stand all-in-all, I placed my tallest and heaviest pot I have on it and it seemed to hold it quite easily (check attached pic) 6. I expected the 4 legs not to be in symmetry to the floor and would wobble. Surprisingly all was fine. No wobble on the ground. All the 4 legs firmly held the floor. 7. Its bye bye to dirty floors which dont allow cleaning. You can see the mud collected at the base of the stand. That was the story before the stand arrived. Will post pic after cleaning the floor later :) Too lazy to clean, but attached are my "pots in the air" !
Cons- 1. The packaging was flimsy, with a thin carton box covering. I have seen stronger carton boxes used. But I guess since the item was made of iron I guess they were ok to use thin carton? 2. How I wish the 4 legs had some plastic bottom so it wouldn't rust and leave a mark on the floor. When its new, this wont be apparent, but as time goes by and I expect the legs to rust a bit, then I expect this problem to crop up !
**Warning - 1.I wouldn't advice shifting the location of the stand with the pot mounted on it. Depending on the weight of the pot the legs may not be able to take the lateral force when its dragged with the pot on it. I suggest you take off the pot, move the stand to the desired location and then mount the pot again! 2. If you keep your pots on a iron grill outside your balcony, then this product is not for you. Buy this only if you have pots placed on the floor
Overall this was a great buy, and I have ordered 4 more of these and now they all have gone out of stock !
Really like the design and the quality of the product. It is compact and yet gives space for display of 6 pots. Just note that the bottom rack allows you to place only short plants, so plan and buy the plants accordingly. Other than that overall satisfied with the buy for this price. Delivery was quick as well
Its received same as in pictures.portable and no assembly required. Can carry average size 6 pots at ease. it looks great and organized your outdoor/indoor garden very beautifully.Go for it without having doubts, but can't tell about product durability as we just bought it.else everything is just perfect with this product.
The product was as described and was delivered in pristine condition. Thanks Amazon delivery. The stand can hold average sized pots comfortably. can be stored out doors as well as indoors. Coated with a black coating, which may protect from rust- only long term usage can testify. After using the stand I feel that it can easily last for many years as long as it is not pushed around with the pots loaded on it. I am happy with the quality, though it might seem a bit costly. It looks really good, and better than the visual impression of the photos posted on Amazon.
Classy product.... Size is quite good. Quality of the product is amazing. It gives a beautiful look to my courtyard. It is sturdy and easy to clean...It can store big pots. Worth buying ...Go for it...!!!
The stand is very small and can only hold small pots for indoor small sized plants. the distance between each level is so less, and the alignment angle of these levels just below one another made it practically useless for me to keep plants. Maybe it can be used as a stand for show pieces etc. It’s not sturdy and it’s pretty light weight. Had a slight Imbalance for the one I recieved. So returned it.
Not worth 2200/- its weight is just~6kg so it should not cost more than 1200, including shipping. Welds are very weak and can’t handle even small sized cement pots, for me one weld is already broken. Only 10 inch plastic pots can be placed on this. It’s not powder coated, some scratches are also visible on paint.
