The Hardy Boys have many friends and are very gutsy. I am wondering how they can easily find answers to mysterious places and how to get to the next place in a jiffy(ok fine, not always but most of the times they find the way).

Frank and Joe Hardy are investigating a mysterious old house high on the cliffs above Barmet Bay when they are frightened off by a scream. The boys return to the apparently haunted house when they make a connection between the place and a smuggling case their father is working on. Product description
From AudioFile
Put away the lens of character development and take out the lens of pure adventure. Frank and Joe Hardy are given a mission by their father, which turns into a full-blown rescue event. For the seasoned Hardy fan or the new listener, narrator Bill Irwin brings the thrill of being alongside Frank and Joe as the plot thickens. Irwin is breathless, questioning, eager, discouraged, and optimistic--just as the boys are, and he voices supporting roles with a hint of each character. Be ready to jump, as the sound effects are most realistic! I would say that this book is very good for reading. I have only read half and I'm loving it. It's not only entertaining for the children but also for the adults too. I'm turning out to be the Hardy boys' fan.

It's really great book for learning past tense by just reading stories. Just go for it without thinking anything.

Good story that reminds me of my youth. Kindle Version has some Layout Issues.

The story is classic Hardy Boys. Absolutely ridiculous (obviously one of them owns a speed boat and they just happen to stumble across some smugglers) but so much fun to read.
The length is short considering the price of £5.99 at time of purchase. This is definitely a series of books to wait for discounts. The bulk deal of £301 for 50 books isn't exactly a deal either... it's just the price of buying the books individually.
There were a few layout issues in this book that weren't present in the first. Some of the image descriptions were enlarged to appear like chapter headings and fell onto the next page as a result. There were also some cut off sentences. The majority of it is clear and well migrated to digital form and these issues won't ruin your reading experience.

Loved these books as a child and loved it now. Read all of the hardy boys books when in junior school and was worried that after over 20 years the books would be showing their age but I was not disappointed. A very good read, and while some of the language used may have fallen out of favour it is still a great story for any age.

It's not about a house on a cliff. It's not interesting, or exciting. Just terrible and very old fashioned (obviously). Badly written.
