I can never find a boring or uninteresting moment in The Goblet of Fire and I never get sick of reading it again and again as it's so easy to lose myself in Harry Potter with the astounding events and distinctive characters.Anyone who hasn't read up to The Goblet of Fire should definitely re-think that decision as this is the book where it all changes and it's then impossible to not continue reading the rest of the books.

Harry Potter and the goblet of fire review
Author-J.K Rowling
This book is in the Harry Potter series so people would be a fan of this book .
This book shows how the Triwizard tournament is held at Hogwarts and Harry , though underage gets selected for the tournament.
There are many interesting parts in this book but the most interesting part I found was , when Barty Crouch Jr. told the truth about how he entered Hogwarts and explained that how he escaped Azkaban, under the trance of Veritaserum (the truth potion).
The most horrifying part was when Cedric died and when Voldemort got his body back.
The funniest part was when Lavender and Parvati started laughing at the mention of the Yule Ball by Professor Mcgonagall.
My overal opinion:
It's quite positive. This is also my favourite book in the Harry Potter series till now.It is just totally fantastic.I give this book five out of five stars.Harshit Gupta

Being afraid of the Sirius Black (an escaped convict from Azkaban prison) the Dursley's were treating Harry much nicely this summer. Weasley's came to pick Harry up for the Quidditch World Cup finals with a bang, but their fun was washed up by the return of Death eaters- supporters of the Dark Lord. Harry then finds out that a tournament is going to held at Hogwarts in which children below 17 are barred to enter. It'll be a tournament like no other anyone has ever seen, which will test champions' magical prowess, courage, intellect, knowledge and ability to cope with danger. With the knack for trouble, would the-boy-who-lived be able to stay away from trouble or would he find himself again in the midst of it all?
The fourth book in The Harry Potter Universe contains so many new spells and charms as well as awesome new characters along with a few magical creatures. The writing is as always so neat and easier to fathom. This book provides the much needed backstory of one of the most heinous villain ever. The plot is plain and simple but the twist at the end is what makes this a splendid read. I loved all the new characters and their development is superbly done. Voldemort just gave it a more darker touch than the first three books. How Voldemort instill fear in the hearts of Death Eaters is one of my most appreciated moment of the book. I loved how different schools came together to participate in the competition, it may prove to be a big turning point in the later books to counter against the dark lord's army. I would love to read about these guys again. The only thing i disliked is that sometimes the book pacing was getting slow. Also i was really looking forward to the maze trial but it was over in an instant. Apart from that, i loved the book. Do pick this series if you haven't already. 😊🙏

I have no words to express how much i enjoyed this book. It is like when you start your bike and travel with some serious thoughts, reach the destintion, and suddenly you think back how did i come across all those traffics, pass the narrow street, you really don't know. You can't remember sometime, at all. Because, your mind were in the right place at some where else, where you want to be. At the same time your physical body, beautifully, without any mistaken, does the activity properly. That is how I felt after complete this book. For me, I was in hogwards with potter for last two weeks mentally, still i am physically present in real and did my regular activities very well.

These audio books are amazing! My sister has MS and struggles to read books due to the MS, but she LOVES Harry Potter. When I told her that the films do not have the same details that the books have she was very disappointed that she was missing out and so she started the first book but only managed a few pages over a week. She felt like the extra details were hidden secrets never to be revealed to her . . . Until now! The unabridged cds read by Stephen Fry are AMAZING! All the extra bits from the books are now reachable for my sister, who listens to them when driving. Only problem is that now she keeps highlighting areas where the film is not as thorough as the books! Thank you #StephenFry for doing such a wonderful job bringing all the different characters to life for her.

This fourth of the novel is among my most favourite in the series. There are Death Eaters, Harry faces a returned Voldemort! Professor Moody is not Moody and Rita Skeeter reveals her true nature.. This book sees Harry’s transformation into adulthood in a more serious storyline that perfectly mixes humorous with drama – the book has great character development but a key player will die. The book takes off begins with a tournament when Ron invites Harry to the Quiditch World Cup Final. Ron’s father, through his Ministry of Magic connections has managed to secure seats, but some uninvited guests spoil the event. Later on Hogwarts sees another tournament on its premises; the historic Triwizard Tournament and Harry, despite his age, unexpectedly becomes an contestant.
At the same time he-who-must-not –be-named is slowly growing stronger now that his reliable servant, Wormtail, has returned to him the tone of the books gets progressively darker.
So it’s a great book again, a worthy successor to the magnificent Prisoner of Azkaban, that I very much enjoyed.
We bought the more durable hard bound copy, so the that book can be passed on from one child to the other as they start to develop an interest. However given the Potter-enthusiasm our oldest displays I wonder she will ever part with it.

Good but why the spoilers on front or back covers in these editions of the books??
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2020Verified Purchase
Everything good but I have a complaint with the edition of books: why the spoilers either on the cover or the back? The Chamber of Secrets has a picture of the freaking basilisk at the front cover which takes out all of the mistery in the book. And this one at the back talks about the Triwizard Tournament and gives all details while this is secret towards the first part of the book. Obviously not my first read but if it was and I knew nothing I'd be a bit annoyed about that

Another great story with beautiful illustrations.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 October 2020Verified Purchase
First of all. A point. I'm aware of the recent controversy surrounding JK Rowling's opinions. This review is NOT about the moral debate over how she feels about the validity of LGBT identities. This is about the book, and the book only.
My daughter has ALL the Harry Potter Illustrated books. She loves them, and I can see why. The print quality is excellent, the cover art beautiful and the package as a whole is a high quality item that gives the reader a different experience to the paperbacks. The artist has done a fantastic job of bringing Rowling's characters and settings to life. It all looks good and fits well with the story. One thing I should warn you about is that this is a large, heavy book and will probably be reserved for reading at home. It's NOT the sort of thing you could take on the train and read. It's also worth noting that bringing out the next edition of the illustrated books takes a LONG time. This one took much longer than the last one and 'Order of the Phoenix' is an even longer book. If you're hoping to collect the whole Harry Potter series in illustrated form you are probably in for a long wait. I'd estimate you'll have to wait until at least 2028, probably 2030 before you can complete the set. There's also the risk that at some point the financial value of printing these won't be there. So you could try and collect them, but find at the end you only have half an illustrated set. The book on it's own merit though, will be loved by kids and adult Potter fans alike. It'd make a great Christmas or birthday present, and might encourage a fan who read the paperback to read the story again.
