5.0 out of 5 stars Love it.
By bidisha b. on 4 January 2019
I am pushing 30's but I still love Harry potter like I did when I was a teenager and today I gave it as a gift to a teenager who is new to the book world. The books arrived in a perfect condition, timely delivery, well packed and along with a book mark. None of pages are missing and the paper quality is too good no speck of yellow is seen even the print is good. The conversation carried out between Ron Hermione and Harry through letters are printed in different fonts and the rest in different which gives the whole book an interesting look. The new readers can feel the conversation actually happening in their mind like a play on radio.

5.0 out of 5 stars And the magical journey begins AGAIN
By ₹ockey on 11 September 2021
Having finished the UK version years ago, and to quench the desire to start all over again led me to buy this edition. Nominal changes in otherwise known story makes the journey a bit more interesting. Since the content of the book is already known to many, I am strictly sticking to the condition and quality of the book.
The book was delivered to me in excellent condition, this version is a bit bigger and thicker than the Bloomsbury UK edition, and due to increased real estate of the book, contents of the pages seem a bit less congested. If you’re someone who loves a bit large and thick book in their hands go for the US edition instead of the UK one. Chapters too start with a small cartoon which is a nice touch. As can be noticed in the pictures provided pages are a bit bright than UK one but truth be told might be because of the fact that the UK edition is with me for quite some time.

Highly recommended….

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great experience
By ₹ockey on 6 October 2021
Not many fans have the early Bloomsbury UK edition of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in hardcover. And since I usually prefer hardcover editions over paperback, I decided to purchase this book.

I am very happy with the purchase, book was delivered in great condition, no damage to it whatsoever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the Wait
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2018
i always knew this book would be one I loved, but for some reason never read it. So it was one of those books I ended up knowing about, and saw the movie for but hadn't read.
Finally I got around to read it and found it was far better than I imagined. Completely different to the impression I had in my head about it.
I am so late to the party there is little I can say about it, but if you are like me and still at the thinking about it stage then buy this book and you wont be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting book

I really liked this book. It's about a boy who lives in a broom cupboard at his uncle's house and who hilariously ends up at a wizard-school!.. you can't make this up. It's full of weird terms and magical jargon which makes it sometimes hard to read. Yet it has a nice plot. But i'm not going to spoil more of the story here - read it yourself.
They should make a movie about this! In fact, the story lends itself very well for a sequel.
